Re: Private Neighborhood Schools
it's gonna be hard for you to get rich when no one else has any money to buy whatever you're selling. luckily we have a public education system so people are able to lead productive lives and help you get rich.

Because I dont beleive anyone has to be "allowed" anything. We are a free country. We should act like it and stop relying on others to give you permission.

They get to pick themselves up and try again. Nobody dies of starvation in America unless they choose to. Do things get tight sometimes? Damn straight they do. That's your incentive to do better next time. |

Re: Private Neighborhood Schools
and you asked me a question about a scientific theory...
edit: i guess it is your position then that if someone isn't a huge success in this country we should just let them become a hobo and die. gotcha.

Re: Private Neighborhood Schools
That wouldn't apply in a civilized setting. Natural selection, as it were, means that 'favorable' genetic mutations cause some animals to live long enough to pass on their genetic makeup and others to die before doing so. In spite of the best efforts of eugenicists in the early half of the 20th century, no substantive scientific evidence was ever able to support the notion that natural selection applied to societal undesirables.
Being impoverished or on welfare is not genetic, ergo, there is no genetic selection - only a desire to stop those perceived as inferior from breeding.
