But it may surprise you that I don't support a federal amendment to ban gay marriage. That's going way too far. I only support the right of a state to decide for themselves. I'm not on any kind of anti-gay crusade.

That would be the conservative position.

Oh, hell, I don't know. There's a lot of things that people get into that I don't understand.

I don't understand how people can enjoy spending hours and hours every week devoting themselves towards a fictional god. But I'm not about to restrict their constitutional rights to be able to do so if they desire. That's the difference between the anti-gay marriage folks and the rest of us. Just because we don't feel that way ourselves doesn't mean we should restrict other people's actions who DO feel that way.

You said something about learning the truth? The truth is Christianity has a built-in bias against homosexuality, so if you consider yourself a christian you are much more likely to be homophobic.

Ever known of gay men who slept with women? I've known of some who are even complete flamers that admit they've slept with women. How is it possible for a gay man to achieve an erection, for sex with a female, if you aren't attracted to women in any remote way?
