I personally think that people who have ever appeared on any reality dating show should be barred for life from ever getting married. HOWEVER I would oppose any legislation to that effect.
When you want to deny someone a right they are entitled to based solely on who they are, that's when words like bigot come into play. You may personally disagree with something, but if you aren't trying to infringe on the rights of that person then your personal feelings don't make you a bigot. When you start trying to dictate what happens in a person's life because you don't like them, that's a whole different story.
Uh, no, that's not true. I remember from other threads that she supports gay marriage. That's not a position you'd expect from someone who thinks that homosexual sex is "immoral, wrong and unnatural based on the Bible."
The question mark on my post was a matter of being polite. If you wish to disagree with Mrs.M, that's fine, but it would help your case if you could accurately state her positions.
I did.

Perhaps I'm the who deserved the question mark, eh?
Mrs. M believes that homosexual sex is immoral and wrong but nevertheless advocates for same-sex marriage based on libertarian principles. I recognize that is not what you expect from a "gay marriage" advocate, but it is what it is. My question to Mrs. M stands.
I'm babysitting my granddaughters so I'll have to keep this short. It's definitely not a change from any positions I've taken in the past. I've stated many times in the past that sex outside of marriage is biblically considered sinful. I'm not God though and it's not my job to judge anyone, especially since I'm guilty of fornication.
Fidei Defensor doesn't understand that I can admit that something may be morally wrong in the eyes of God, but I can separate spiritual views from legal views and if I'm wrong for doing so, well, that's between me and God. I've got several gay friends and I don't feel that how they have sex is any different than the fact that I have sex without being married. It's just no big deal to me...

No, I understand that completely, and I respect that. In fact, I have specifically stated that you endorse same-sex marriage based upon libertarian principles in spite of your moral views. It is commendable, on some level, when someone will support another's right to do a thing even when one considers that thing immoral.
Just to be clear though (because you seem to be distancing yourself by saying that it's "morally wrong in the eyes of God"), you've flatly stated yourself that you know that homosexual sex is morally wrong (i.e. it's morally wrong in your eyes too). See Post 266.
I simply wanted to hear your thoughts on the letter to Dr. Laura as it pertains directly to your views on the immorality of homosexual sex and the basis therefore (the Bible).
