    Indeed, haha.

I love shellfish, but then again i also eat pork and don't mind mixing dairy with meat and what not.

I believe Christ was the savior and reformed the religion, and god through his son sent him as our savior so what he has taught us through his words are what is to be followed.

I am yet to give away all my wealth though and judge even though i am not without sin so i am probably not a very good Christian.

But you cannot doubt that an entity that has advised us of what hormornal lunatics women on the juice are, must at the vey least be wise if not omnipresent, no?

And on that note i shall go pray for i will need it when Mrs. M reads these posts in the morning...God help me.

Maybe they were supposed to, you know, get some time off the hormone bombs.
Yes, but i think in his wisdom he realized it would only be one more attack against the virtue of the women of his chosen people, by those who seek to do them harm.

You can just imagine it play out in today's day and age:

Leader of Hamas to his terrorists: You must go and detonate the wombs of all Israeli women as Allah has given us the bombs, as you his messengers carry the nitroglycerin!

A truly sensible god would command the men to gather and party for a few days. I guess even the jews lost some touch with the old ways. Also, thanks for telling me more about Mrs. M's ladystuff, I really needed to know more about that.
Hey, you started talking about! :p And don't blame it on God's words in the od testamnt either - he may have given you eyes but he also gave you the free will not to read about the fact he gave you those eyes...

That strikes me a bit like saying people are obsessed with terrorism.

It's a political forum, and same-sex marriage is a hot political issue so it doesn't seem weird to me that it's discussed here (although I think we could do without new threads on it every few days).

Traveler, do you believe that Jesus' admonition against stone- throwing requires us to adopt laws recognizing same-sex marriage?

I'm just curious as to how people decide which parts of their belief system (not necessarily a religion) are right for them. Yes, the NT mentions homosexuality, but it also states that women should cover their hair, (1 Corinthians 11: 1-16) and be silent and submit (Ephesians 5: 22-32). Some of the most outspoken women I know are Christians. I have a lot of respect for Mrs.M's position, but I'd like to see how people in general make those kinds of decisions.

Nice to see that finally some respect is being shown for others' positions. Now maybe a real discussion can be had.

Well, you know, there is such a thing known as hermeneutics. For starters, it helps out a lot to be aware of it.

    When a thread begins with
    A homosexual wedding vow:
I Pierre, take thee Pepe, to be my lawfully wedded wife. I promise to love you, cherish you, and not have sex with strangers.

Research done by San Francisco State University has revealed that 50% of homosexuals in pretend marriage engage in sex outside the "marriage" with the full consent and approval of their "marriage" partner. "None of this is news in the gay community, but few will speak publicly about it."

I don't want to leave the impression that their "marriage" is entirely fraudulent. No, "they have rules: complete disclosure, honesty about all encounters, advance approval of partners, and no sex with strangers...“

What? No sex with strangers? You mean no cruising public restrooms? No anonymous meetings at the bathouse? No tap dancing underneath bathroom stalls at the airport? With such burdensome expectations, how will homosexual "marriage" survive?

These guys don't want a marriage. They want an endorsement. They want something from society that nature cannot give, evidence that they belong together.
and the op then continues to obsess about how MALE homosexuals have sex, it's really hard to take him serious. He gives a pass to lesbians even though two women can't produce a baby anymore than two men can and reproduction has been his main argument throughout the thread. He's been told that heterosexuals practice anal sex and yet, all he can do is harp on "diseases" that homosexuals get from anal sex. If he can't present a better argument than "their bodies aren't made for each other", then yes, he can expect ridicule.

What about the admonition not to judge others?

Certainly, ridiculing a man does not intellectually counter his argument so there's no valid point to it anyway.

Threads such as this one often end up this way because most of the anti-gay crowd uses the same lame arguments over and over again. To top it off, they often refer to homosexuals as perverts and claim that homosexual choose to be that way. Yet, none of them can tell us exactly when they themselves made the decision to be heterosexual. Another argument they use is that "gay marriage will harm society". WTF? They accuse me of not having a crystal ball when I say that gay marriage will eventually happen but yet they know that the marriage will harm society???
After a while, it's just easier to just laugh at these people because of the absurdity of their arguments.

    Re: Homosexuals and polygamy

The damnedest thing happened today, that immediately made me think of this thread, as I was driving home, after it happened. I'm still angry, but not as pissed as I was, at that time. Had I posted then, I would have said some things that probably shouldn't be said, so I refrained.

I've had a membership at Bally's for about a year. Went to another location today, because of their heavy bags. It's not known to be a gay part of town, though. You'll find out why I threw that in there.

Went to the sauna, like I usually do, after each workout. Relaxing with my eyes closed, like always. Men coming and going, over the course of 30 minutes. Very little said, and nothing out of the ordinary. So it seemed...

Eventually, I'm in there with 3 other guys. Place is kind of small, and we are cramped, so one guy stands up, after he comes in. I still have my eyes closed and only open them, briefly, whenever I hear someone else move. The guy who was standing up, eventually switches sides and stands next to one of the other men. Nothing I've never seen before. The place is small. So I close my eyes again.

A few minutes later, I hear him move a little closer. So when I open my eyes, the third guy, who is sitting right next to me, is staring at me up and down, repeatedly, in a very strange fashion. I look over at the other two guys, and the one standing up is suddenly giving a hand job to the other guy who is sitting down with his legs wide open. Couldn't believe my damned eyes. He took it out from the front opening in the guy's swim trunks, and was jerking him off right in front of me. Could even hear the damned squishy sound, from all the sweat. The guy next to me was obviously getting turned on, and that's when I realized he was trying to invite me in on a group thing that was suddenly taking place. Let me remind that you, that during the whole incident, or even before it, not a single word is mentioned between anyone at all. It's as though they were feeling each other out, or feeling me out (if they already knew each other), and then decided to just go at it. Really pissed me the hell off. Not to mention that I was in shock, because I've never been in that type of atmosphere, nor was I expecting it.

I quickly get up, give them a go-to-hell look, and then slam the door behind me. After taking a quick shower and getting dressed, I notified the front clerk that 3 men were engaging in sexual activity, and then I left. He walked quickly to the men's locker room, where the sauna was located, and I don't know what happened, after that.

This is the honest to goodness truth. I'm not making it up. And all I kept thinking about, on the way home, was this thread and how much of huge coincidence this was. I couldn't believe it.

I've heard jokes about gay men and saunas, but this is the first time I've ever witnessed it with my own eyes. What gets me the most is that they did this right in front of me, in a place that wasn't of their own environment. This wasn't a gay bathhouse or gay spa. It wasn't even the privacy of their own bedrooms, either.

I'm sorry to say this, but today's incident only hardens my personal beliefs about this issue even further. People can now attack me as much as they want. Hell, it can be open season on me, for all I care. But I won't tolerate that kind of behavior, when it's right in front of me. Call me a bigot, if you will.

I'm in agreement with Fidei Defensor, that less personal attacks and hatred would be more productive. It's been going both ways, in this thread. The best that people can do is agree not to agree, in a civil manner, if they are going to make a real impression upon someone else, with an opposing view. Anything more than that is just an unproductive waste of precious time.

    That's just my 2 cents.

You have every right to be pissed about this. Performing sex acts uninvited in the presence of others is rude whether it hetero- or homosexuals and I do hope the clerk caught them in the act and banned them from ever going back.

After all that effort to type that out.

You need to man up. No one cares about who likes you and who doesn't.

If someone gives a handjob to another man in front of you, walk the hell out and express your displeasure. Tell them to take it somewhere else.

I've walked through race riots, I've stepped over M4M action that I didn't want to see. I've worn a towel through blood-sport badminton, and came out on top. I had to walk over skulls for that, and puke blood just to blind my enemies such that I could walk over pure, heterosexual ground again.

    Buck up.

Don't need someone else to tell me man up, dude. That's small talk and puffed up words, for someone like myself. No need for that kind of senseless talk that appeals to the ego.

That's about as stupid as a damned post as I've seen you write.

    Yeah. Of course it is.

There's no puffed up words there, player. Just the fact that you can't get over what you saw, and had to post about it, in detail.

Good luck with your 'hardening' personal beliefs.

Man, that was some crazy stuff, Mrs. M! Caught me completely off guard.

Won't be doing the sauna, at that location, anymore. It was one of those small saunas, that only fit 4 people, sitting up. Plus the lights always off, at that location, with only the outside light coming in, through the doorway. I walked away thinking, "Does this sh** happen often, over here?"

    Crazy day, indeed.
