I wouldn't say men are shallow. Sure, if they just want to get laid they focus on looks which is understandable IMO but once they think about a relationship it's the whole package that matters.

And let's not forget that the first thing about another person that sparks your interest is the way that person looks. It may be the body, the eyes, mouth or whatever floats your boat. And while thinking your partner is physically attractive may not be the most important thing in a relationship it's definitely important nevertheless because honestly nobody wants to have sex with someone they think is ugly.

You seem very wise. In my younger days I can't tell you how many times I woke up with a different woman than the one I called it "an evening" with. It's so nice to recognize the person in the morning. What has a woman accomplished if she manages to catch the guy's eye initially as you say, but then finds that he's repulsed when he finds that everything he was attracted to came off the shelf? Isn't it better to go in naturally so that when someone IS attracted, it's because they really find you attractive? And besides, all this surgery, doesn't it emphasize the false notion that beauty IS only skin deep?
