An example? How about the use of the manufactured word, "homophobic" to describe ANYONE who objects to homosexuality being presented as moral, healthy, and natural. Isn't a phobia an unfounded fear of something? Like spiders, snakes, small spaces? When it comes to adoption, you see statements from gays that indicate their homes are stable and loving, but hetero homes are completely dysfunctional. I have read this kind of statement numerous times.

I see, So your fear is not unfounded? Please provide the basis, in fact, for your position on homosexuality. Please provide some meaningful links, not the Family Research Council and that ilk. If the Bible is your source then I will be wanting to own a Canadian.

If you can make the case, go for it. Otherwise, your concerns are in fact unfounded, which, according to you, makes it a phobia.

(By the way, your own emotional response is not a basis. I do not like baked beans; that is an emotional decision. It would be wrong of me to say that since I do not like baked beans then baked means must be immoral. So please don't present that argument as being the basis why homosexuality is wrong.)

That's not really addressing my point. If a conservative group is spewing hateful messages about someone, labeling them a hate group needn't hinge on whether or not homosexual groups are classified the same. You either hate, or you don't. You don't get a pass because another group does. Take responsibility and ownership for your own actions.

It's okay to point out the hypocrisy, but pointing out the hypocrisy doesn't mitigate the vailidty of the characterization...
