This same bumper sticker can be bought with Romney, Palin, Bachmann or Christie's face on it so why would does this loony woman consider it racist if Obama's face is on it? It's also unfortunate that she's not the only black I've run into who feels if you criticize Obama, you're a no good racist. Has anyone else come across this?

In Maine with few minorities it really doesn't happen, and you can disagree with Lord Obama. Actually we have a lot of racism here so when some one has a racist opinion it flows freely.

I've actually seen the quote/phrase that Mrs M mentions on a truck's bumper sticker around here. Its actually fairly clever, IMO. I don't see racism in it.

Err isn't it meant to be a play on words as far as Democrats being donkeys/asses or something?

I think that those like the black woman I mentioned in the OP will always see any criticism of Obama from a white person as racism. They're not satisfied that a black man won, now they want everyone to fall at his feet and worship him just because he's black and regardless of what's happening to the country. Thankfully, I heard many blacks complain about him but I wonder if they've got the kahunas to cross the party line in the next election...I seriously doubt many will. Hopefully, enough whites who previously voted for him will be fed up enough to cast an "anyone but Obama" vote.

Nope...I've decided to not use anymore Spanish words (big joke at the bar the other night) so I'm using "sounds like" words or like the things you buy at the Mexican restaurants, you know, with the shell, meat, sauce, cheese and lettuce...now known as 'vaginas'. We came up with a whole list but unfortunately, after drinking that Mexican stuff with the worm in the bottom, I forgot most of them! (Guess I should have warned everyone!)

(I remembered another one...those little hot things wrapped in corn husks are now called 'Injun dicks'....sorry Traveler!!!)

LOL There's a few guys at the bar that say "I don't have a problem with the black man, it's that white SOB I can't stand."

Anyone who who pulls that card simply can't stand on the issues.

The polite thing to do is ignore them. The impolite thing would be to publicly shame them their ignorance.

Guess I would have been impolite...but then again, you'd have to know the woman to understand. She can interpret a simple statement like "the cat is black" as a "racist comment" which really surprises me since she hangs out with whites and even dates white guys. TBH, she's not one of my favorite people because she's a moocher and takes issue with way too much for the bar scene...the mood killer sort of person...but I'm polite to her just to keep the peace until she gets on one of her tirades and then I counter her outrageous opinions with some of my own.
