Certainly not by salary alone.
People have assets and some people save every discretionary penny they have until, or even way into, retirement.
Being a millionaire is easy, running a successful business is not easy.

Re educator/millionaires, I forget where I read that the most common profession for a spouse of an executive/manager is teacher. So Mr Workaholic puts in major hours, racks up bonuses and possibly stock options, then hopefully retires before he dies of a heart attack after a life of 25 hr/day stress, leaving a rich, former-teacher widow.
Re the OP, it's good to see students protesting for something worthwhile for a change!
