Is Air Force One Fly-over Example Of Arrogance Or A White House Out Of Control

Videos of Air Force One are all over the internet and on the news. But this time it's because of a panic that it caused.
The last time I saw Air Force One was when President Bush visited Ft Campbell after much of the 101st Airborne had returned from Iraq and Afghanistan. He wanted to welcome them back and say goodbye for the last time.
Airforce One is a beautiful aircraft. How strange it is now to know that a few days ago this same aircraft caused a panic in Manhattan.
Somebody decided that they wanted to flyover Ground Zero for a photo-op and without notifying Mayor Bloomberg went ahead causing a panic on the ground. The mayor is furious. People were screaming and running. God only knows what could have happened because almost everyone remembers the last time a jet flew this close to the ground on 9/11. Reports of injuries and accidents haven't been released but I don't expect reporters to report on this anyway.
But what the hell is going on. It makes one wonder if the current occupants in the White House are arrogant, out of control, or just plain stupid.
It is reported that President Obama was furious. One might want to ask why he didn't know about it. One also might want to know what the hell is going on in his Administration. How much of this chaos is really beyond Obama's control and if it is why can't he control the people that are directly beneath him? Why is it we can't possibly expect Obama to control these people yet Bush had to personally watch every single person in the Department of Defense to keep them honest?
I remember when Bush was president every belch from the highest General to lowest Private was quickly labeled on orders from the Bush Administration. Even Katrina was blamed on Bush. Look at the change we are witnessing now. Nothing that happens in the Obama Administration has anything to do with the President explained away as being done ether without his knowledge or was something he had little or no responsibility for.
From the release of memos of harsh interrogation techniques to the labeling of thousands of returning Iraqi Veterans as possible terrorists almost nothing is his responsibility.
But the order to kill 3 Somali Pirates.......that was President Obama's baby. The way they made it sound it was like he was watching the whole thing on Satellite TV in real-time, maybe even calling the shots. The Seal snipers just pulled the trigger. It was Obama that saved the day.
The White House decides to disregard public safety and fly at low altitude over Ground Zero and President Teleprompter gets a pass? I bet CNN and the rest aren't even talking about this, but I would be willing to bet people on the ground in NYC still are.
Robert Gibbs had no explaination but I guess in a day or two they will finish formulating their excuse and tell the rest of us....and I'm sure it will make perfect sense. Don't hold your breath because this may take some time.
P.S. Update on the story. President Obama said they were trying to find out who was responsible [yeah right] and with a grin on his face he said it won't happen again.
