Let’s consider the immense trust we have to put in the MSM if we are to believe a story from Iraq, or any other problematic corner of this globe. A little known source takes photos and pictures, ads interpretation, then sells the work to AP. AP adds it’s own interpretation, then sells the same to a MSM provider. When the MSM makes errors, rare is the occasion that it apologizes in a truly contrite manner.
