    It would seem fewer and fewer of the youger generation have the inclination or curiosity to explore beyond "sound bites" fed an a daily basiis by the mass media. Not so surprising in a world evolved to the point of "Information Overload".

    How can we best handle this overload !

    IMO Virtually all information and learning is provided to us by "Connections" and "comparisons" obtained through our eyes, ears, and the mouths of others. ...

    These are the latest figures. I have checked.

    Are people saying FactCheck.Org is wrong. The number is a bit dated but there no reason it shouldn't hold.
    In 2002 GDP was 10,000 Billion and 13.9 was spent on health.
    Which gives a number of 1,390 billion spent on health in 2002.

    $6 billion was given out in malpractise suits in 2002.
