Money vs Minds

There is a saying imbedded in every pilots mind about magnetic deviation and navigation in the form of a jingle: East is Least and West is Best. (meaning and adjustment must be made to compensate for the deviation in the magnetic compass as one flys in either direction).

Perhaps there is an unsaid jingle that would help us be aware of and remember what seems to be a world wide current or force moving us toward contemplating an ideological change "because" of the "deviation"...

Higher gas prices may save the Boy Scouts.

Libs hate Boy Scouts but they are being hailed as heroes now because they can be used to pound home the environmentalists talking points. Kind of the way dead American soldiers have been drug into the spotlight supporting the anti-war movement. Libs hate Boy Scouts with a passion but in this case they are useful tools in a war against fossil fuels.

I'm a.k.a. MovieJay to many people, and that's because I heart movies. I spend so much time living that I've found it surprising how so many of the best parts of myself just fall by the wayside on this site. Perhaps it's because I care about politics, but in my own life, not so much.

I love acting and writing. I do a little tutoring. I find a few shifts here and there at restaurants and bars. Save a little cash. Travel. Love meeting people and hearing their stories. I love this blog...

of all offices from top to bottom being the objective:

It should be done without sacrifice of the subjective forces that have captured the imagination and fired the will of the people to affect a giant change in the direction of our government. The choice of an Obama V.P. running mate should be made with that foremost in mind.
