Video game DLC point to the fact of entitlement mentality
I am getting a new game on my wedding day called Mass Effect 3 ...It is a space opera Role Playing Game (RPG) Now when it comes out there will be a day one Down Loaded Content (DLC) that seems to have caused a ruckus. It seems people have this belief that have content to be sold separately is an evil capitalist motive to make money and shit on customers......Now it is true that DLC's are a separate means of revenue ...It is not an evil thing. One thing is you don't need to DLC to finish or enjoy the game........You don't need it to complete the personal story of the main protagonist.
What this boils down to is people think that they are Owed things cause they have bought a game other than the game itself. They are taught all the time that those who make money are evil and want to pollute the world and keep you down.....When in truth it is the opposite that is true. They are wanting your money to make more games for you to enjoy and make money.
You are not entitled to anything than what is in the box you bought. Thats it. It is time you who think other wise grow up and get a life.....
