I've just got my 4th 'thank you' email.

Got to love technology.

In other news... the GF has announced that she doesn't want to see me until Thursday... tonight and tomorrow night I won't sleep (well at least) and Wednesday I'll sleep for like 13 hours.

This also means that we are not going to the GOP 'Victory Party' which she pointed out would be the 4th event we'd be dressing up to attend this week. So I should be back home around poll closing time here ...

Today I had to put down my 15 year old German Shorthair Pointer, Suzy. A rescue dog, I had her here for 11 years.

She was in my life longer than the ex-wife I bought her for, countless girlfriends, and a host of other people that might have been friends.

She was an excellent bird dog with great movement and flushing skills and a good nose. Up to the time the first shoot was fired. Then she reminded you just why she was a rescue dog. She could always find the car, and ...

Got it out of the way... a line at the election office, but hey, it was warm, in the '70's and dry.

Over and out of the way... and I can concentrate on my political tasks on Election Day.

I had a meeting today where an employee of the client made a rather disparaging, directed at a long since 'laid off' seasonal worker. My client chastised him for using that phrase, and rightfully so. But it has remained in my head for hours since.
