Re: Bill Clinton calls for "truth"

Clinton wants the truth, but he also wants the ABC special edited so nothing he did or did not do is in it.

Sam, which one got soldiers killed? Well, again, people died in mogadishu too, interesting how that happened right at the time when he was getting in trouble and the guy he went after was no where near as harmful to the U.S. as Bin Ladin was thought to be. Yet he went after him and not Bin Ladin.

Well, do you mean you think he hasn't been caught yet, or that you believe he actually hasn't told a lie to deceive the American people?

As for documented proof... I was asking a question, not stating that he did/had.

However, what do you think about Bush admitting to the 20 secret CIA prisons, which he had denied previously? He lied, and it was documented?

If they were "secret" then he by law can not divulge their existence. Ever hear the phrase "I can neither confirm nor deny..."?

Only one was a lie.

Well, by that time they were hardly secret anymore.... considering the whole world knew about them. And of course, it doesn't really help that those prisons were kind of against the law themselves...

And no, I didn't hear Bush say "I can neither confirm nor deny". Did he? I mean, he might very well have said that... but didn't he just go for the deny option?

I wasn't making the presumption that you had proof, just asking if you did. In regards to the secret prisons, I don't have all the facts on that so I won't make a judgement call beyond that of my own. I see the need for covert CIA operations and do not object to extreme measures in our effort to smash Al-Q or other terror orgs. I believe in no rules observed when fighting a no rules enemy.

Re: Bill Clinton calls for "truth"

How many of the Clinton apologists have a problem with the baldfaced LIEs contained in Michael Moore's 'Farenheit 9/11'?

Cleary, Bubba Clinton was distracted by Monicagate. He had the opportunity to get Bin Laden and refused it. Therefore he is partially responsible for 9/11. Not fully, but at least partially. Only a moron would not see the connection.

I think you are wrong, can you back up that accusation? Where did you hear that and why did you believe it?Or did you just make it up out of the blue or what?

An intention to decieve is a prerequisite to a lie. Right?

You make that unsupported accusation, but you refuse to back it up. It makes you appear disingenuous Helene, What prison did Bush deny existed?

Can you tell us or are you just talking shit?

Not neccesarily a moron...but foolish.

There are people on this forum that believe Moore tells it like it is...despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary.

No shit, people here are always accusing the USA of breaking laws, but when pressed on the issue they shut right the fuck up or try to change the subject.

Where is this law that was supposedly broken?

No here is a perfect example of partisan alliegance.........defend the liar from the alleged lies of others. Once again, what a concept. A TV miniseries is entertainment, a presidential address which turns out to be an admitted lie stands head and shoulders above.

I asked them to not show only the lying part. The second half. The first half is all truth
