9/11. A pictorial/comment tribute.

9/11. A pictorial/comment tribute.

CNN 9-11
And when I returned to my van, I learned of the fourth plane.

Zec 6:1
And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains [were] mountains of brass.

And yet the cross that remained, was not allowed to stay as a symbol of our spirit.

Next please.

I guess liberals are taking a low profile today. There’s firemen standing on ground zero singing “God Bless America” and the police aren’t making them stop.

Hit the mute button if the song bothers you.

Quiet, Hank. Have some respect, don't make this partisan.

Re: 9/11. A pictorial/comment tribute.

I remember my wife calling the media to let them know that Muslims at the University of South Florida were celebrating in the streets in our apartment complex. I had a Ford F250 at the time with straight pipes (No emission testing in Florida.) and did donuts to chase them off. I still had to go around and knock on there doors and ask them what there fucking problem was it’s a school night and there keeping my kids awake.
The media reported the report but said they could not substantiate any occurrences.

I think this is the first time I’ve seen president Bush and no protesters in site.
(Ya think they know they’d get there asses kicked?)
Where are the memorial backers dictating the memorial will be to honor Indian genocide and slavery instead of fire fighters and civilian casualties???
They’ll probably be back when the budget committee money comes available.

I’m hearing a lot of songs like “The Battle Hymn of the Republic,” “God bless America” and “America the Beautiful” that I suppose my children’s generation have never heard before. Where are you America? (I think I’ll write another song today.)

There calling the replacement the freedom tower. We had a bridge in Tampa called the Gandy bridge named after a Tampa pioneer. They changed it to the freedom bridge. What exactly are we celebrating. America was founded free?

Somebody always has to lower these memorials with politics. Shame on you Hank.

Don’t spin this into my lack of respect, I do this for them. Tell us, what is it you do?

I was thinking this thread wasn't about you or I, it was a tribute to those who lost their lives or showed selfless acts of heroism on 9/11. Perhaps I was wrong.

It's great that others around the world are also giving tribute to the fallen during 9/11. I'd like to thank all of the fine people who still stand for what's right.

Are you guys trying to piss me off?
Hmmm partisan. You mean like liberals supporting Ward Churchill’s right to say America deserved 9/11 on the last anniversary with no mention from either of you on respect?
My thread, take a hike. I‘m pissed right now at those who really don‘t have any respect for this happening.

Who gives a fuck, Hank? If you have any sort of humanity, you'll be able to set aside politics for just a moment and realize this day for what it is. A day where we all suffered tremendous loss. Republicans died that day, democrats died that day, liberals died that day, conservatives died that day. Fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, husbands and wives died that day. Christians, Muslims, Jews, Buddhists, Hindus, Atheists died that day. Blacks, whites, Asians, middle easterners, Hispanics died that day. Rich, poor, middle class died that day. Americans suffered, no matter who they voted for, no matter what they believe, we all lost something that day. You trying to bend it into something political makes you no better than a conspiracy theorist.

Like you, sir. Your politicizing of this throws dirt in the face of everyone who succumbed on that horrible day. This is an ultimate low for you, Hank, you should be terribly ashamed of yourself.

I came into this thread expecting a tribute to the unfortunate fallen, but instead found you standing on a soapbox made of the dead, exploiting this terrible tragedy to meet your political ends.

You make me sick.

I think what makes US sick is the stupid sumbitches that STILL don't realize what 9-11 was/is about. I guess (no, make that I know) we'll have to experience more of these before we extract our heads from our colons.

This isn't necessarily ABOUT politics.

Don't worry too much Hank. You know the word "karma" right ?

Karma is basically the plain old laws of nature. People have the choice to learn from painful experience or degenerate into useless crybabies.

We all make our own beds (messes) and have to live with (sleep in) them/it.
