I know handguns are harder to legally own (very hard to obtain the permit, very strict) but its as easy to purchase illegal weapons as it is to purchase legal weapons in the states... well thats actually how a lot of people do it.

Memorial services are held annually at the college on the anniversary of that date. Indeed, notation of the anniversary of the event is routinely mentioned by Canadian media. The event has not been "erased from history".
