Pointing to a long-term executive agreement on supplies of electric energy from Iran

Pointing to a long-term executive agreement on supplies of electric energy from Iran, recently signed between Georgia and Iran, I should turn attention of our authorities to existing real possibility for Georgian energy ministry to solve electricity problem, importing the energy from such neighboring countries as Azerbaijan or Turkey, for instance. Why has Georgian leadership decide to receive gas and electricity from our enemy – Iran? Although Georgian energy minister, N. Gilauri said that under the agreement Georgia will get electricity from Iran in wintertime and then will return it in summertime at the same volume, Georgians keep silence about the cost of transit. It is clear Georgian republic has decided to square accounts with Iran out of money that Georgian budget receives from US taxpayers. It turns out that we have to invest Georgian democrats who behind our back support our enemies! It is not bad plan… for Georgia, but not for America!
