Because it seems that eveyone else on this board has a better grasp of economics then the 'its the man's fault' theory you subscribe to.

Very true.....But what can one expect when political and other powerful figures are the ones bringing it in..........I don't have proof, just a strong gut feeling on it that's all.

I agree, but then again so is tax payer funded rehab.

I consider that being under the guise of the War on Drugs, so I agree. The amount of people who go through rehab and never use again is so small it's just absurd that it hasn't been abandoned. It's only around still as a feel good measure.

The "war on drugs" is an assault on liberty that is undermining our nation by increasing crime rates, destroying families, corrupting the government and generally just throwing the Constitution of the USA into the toilet.

Why the fuck is it any of your business if someone else chooses to do drugs?

The war on drugs started way before Regan - hypothetically speaking. It was brought on simply because it caused people to expand their minds and start questioning our government. It helped the cause of a revolution against the war. I noticed the difference between Vietnam and Iraq... now that drugs are illegal and authority has cracked down on it (no pun intended) people don't really protest like they used to...
