this was surely not about al qaeda or the war on terror or any other bullshit reason. the US has been trying to stabilize somalia with OUR warlord dictators for years and the ICU is currently fucking that up. why do we wish to stabilize somalia? well, we want their oil of course. apparently they have huge potential reserves with US oil compnies waiting to survey and drill. and it doesn't hurt that somalia is strategically located close to the red sea, the gulf of aden, etc. i can't stand it when an act of corporate imperialism is looked upon by educated people as doing something "good" or to ensure the safety of the world. can't you guys see through the shit screen?

How many wars can we start all at once?

Iraq was such a HUGE fuck up. If we weren't in Iraq fighting Iraqis instead of Al Qaeda in Africa and Afghanistan, we could have kicked the terrorist's asses by now. God I hate Bush for putting us in this shit place we are stuck in right now.

Al Qeada is in Iraq. If anything we are more successful at killing AQ because of Iraq. It has drawn them out. But then, your comment is based on the media, which chooses not to cover our success against Al Qeada, which have been many since the invasion. We have killed them in Afghanistan, hunted them in Pakistan, frozen assets and detained suspects around the world. Most of these success are probably even secret. Its best if no one knows he actions we are taking. But youre mistaken if you think that Iraq is in any way stopping us from hunting AQ elsewhere.

Here is another example:

Al-Qaeda terrorist killed in Jordan

Xinhua - English 2007-01-09 18:13:19

AMMAN, Jan. 9 (Xinhua) -- A terrorist from al-Qaeda was killed on Tuesday in Irbid governorate in northern Jordan and another was arrested by the Jordanian Intelligence Department and the Public Security Department.

According to an official source from the Jordanian Public Security Department, the two terrorists stayed in a house and initiated fire at the police force when they raided the house and tried to arrest the terrorists.

The raid on the house took place after following up news on al-Qaeda plans to launch attacks in Jordan, the source was quoted by Jordan's news agency Petra as saying.

The killed terrorist, Suleiman khiad al-Anjadi, holds a temporary Jordanian passport while the arrested one, Ramadan Mustafa al-Mansi, holds a Jordanian passport.

A number of policemen were slightly injured, Petra reported.

I'm not at all sure how I feel about this attack, so I have stayed out of the thread, But I do agree that the timing is suspicious. So "BUSHLIKE"

Some seem to prefer that we leave the terrorists alone. Strange, isn't it?

The warmongers are out in full salivating at the prospect of more war. Zero concern for civilians, all this faith in "intel" I need not give any examples of the numerous flops in this regard. Continue to beat your chest and Bray about kicking terrorist scum, you've learned nothing.

That’s the beautiful part, it doesn’t cost anything.
Our tax dollars are simply going back into the private sector (You know, bombs, airplanes and shit being made.)…
Oh wait! I bet that really ticks of the democrats huh?

We could take the world if we so chose, fortunately, we have never started a war before…

Iraq was such a HUGE fuck up.
Says you. Most of us prefer them defending there homeland over us defending ours. You like what? Want to defend each mall and school separately as they attack?
(Didn’t Clinton call the police the first time they bombed the world trade center and killed innocent civilians???)

Gee! What do you suppose they were thinking???
Have you considered running for secretary of defense so you could tell them we needed to go to Africa instead of Iraq (We are in Afghanistan.)?
Quote:

Yes. Most of us prefer or children die instead of the terrorist.
(Where do you people get this stuff, I mean damn…)

If the intel was accurate, then I'd say this is good.
