I don't think it is ethnically motivated, it is legally motivated. This site can't be sued by hosting death threats against any foreign leader, so it is only a rule that American leaders cannot be threatened. If anything it just exposes an ethical flaw of the site. They should be genuine and ban all threats against all people.

But hey, thats just my opinion.

Well said and I fully agree with you. It's not fair that people get to talk about death of elected officials elsewhere, but not those in the US. I too think that threats against all elected officials should be banned, and not just those in the US.

If it isn't a threat to do so or a solicitation for another to it is supposedly protect by the first amendment. Of course the present administration doesn't like the Constitution very much.

Agree, and what I'm saying is that this should be applied fairly to all elected officials in all countries, not just in the US.

The point is it is unlawful to make such comments about US officials in the US, where this board is located.
