Considering the peace and prosperity of the 90s coupled with how often you righties blame Clinton for everything under the sun, Clinton too should have had a 3rd term...

except for that pesky amendment to the constitution that set limits on how many terms a president could serve...

I think you're right, Stripey.

IIRC, the 22nd amendment was ratified as a result of Roosevelt having served more than two terms.

It's like all the rest of these recent administration scandals: The more we learn, the worse it gets...and I can't help but wonder when the decision-makers of the unclean Republican party are going to finally decide to cut their losses and throw him over the side. It's been difficult keeping this thread up-dated with the very latest, but I feel a responsibility to try because, after all, it IS in the "Breaking News" section!

So let's go to the videotape...

On this Easter Weekend of 2007, we find the Attorney General hunkered down at his home after having scuttled vacation plans to get his lies in order for the upcoming Senate appearance. It's being called "make-or-break" testimony now, and there is little doubt that his job is hanging by a slender thread. Yesterday, Senate Democrats postponed his appearance before the Appropriations Committee on April 12th, deciding that they wanted to focus on the burgeoning aspects of the fired US prosecutors before taking on the prosaic issues of Justice Department funding.

There's more, of course, and I'll be back with further updates...

The Revolution will not be televised.

The Revolution will not be televised.
The Revolution.....will be LIVE!!!

What we have here is living proof, ladies and gentlemen, that the unclean Republicans base is composed of anti-American, democracy-hating, closet fascists.

You can't possibly be surprised...

At this point I think it's far more likely that the Army will surround the WH and drag Bush out of the WH kicking and screaming in a straightjacket, Wrxti. Bush is so highly medicated right now it's ridiculous- ever noticed how thick his speech is?
