Re: Yet another UN Scandal

Well, how much is the $3,500 worth in North Korea's currency?

And presumably much much more has been made. Thus I think that the issue is not that the UN had a mere few thousand, but the fact that they knew this was going on on a (probably) large scale and said nothing. This is what I think is a bigger issue.

Perhaps I am uninformed though, I dont have time to read the article right now.

Re: Yet another UN Scandal

I think the solution is simple. The libs need to get together and pay back the $3500 and the reps need to get together and pay back the $billions wasted by Bush.

Someone should tell them that bad press can be prevented by not abusing prisoners in the first place. Censorship is only needed to preserve the good reputation of those who have tortured and/or murdered already.

Re: Yet another UN Scandal

The thread on reformation of the UN is now in the 'International Politics' forum

Well, since $3,500 is enough for you to say "The United Nations should immediately fire everyone involved in this scandal, and revoke immunity and then the United States should cut off the funding to the agency that has been involved in some of the most lucrative scandals in history," then I take it that since you know of Bush's waste of BILLIONS (not thousands) of dollars, you must want him to fire everyone, be fired and spontaneously combust. Correct?
