CNN reports US Military protecting terrorist group in Iraq
Whats up with this? Either make it policy that you'll deal with terrorists if its to your advantage or remove their classification as a terrorist group. The status quo doesn't make any sense to me.

Re: CNN reports US Military protecting terrorist group in Iraq
No surprised there. The US has and currently does support terrorism, offering unconditional support to some, even before this article came out. The "war on terror" is massive hypocrisy by Bush.

A federal judge ruled today that graphic pictures of detainee abuse at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison must be released over government claims that they could damage America's image. Someone should tell them that bad press can be prevented by not abusing prisoners in the first place. Censorship is only needed to preserve the good reputation of those who have tortured and/or murdered already. |

Re: CNN reports US Military protecting terrorist group in Iraq
anyone watch nightline yesterday? apparently the US also supports a group of terrorists called jundullah (escorted by pakistani intelligence service) who cross into iran, kidnap soldiers and government officials and execute them. oh, they're also responsible for the bombing of a bus in the iranian city of zahedan. according to the article:

It's an alliance of convenience, but it flies against Bush's rhetoric of "Your either with us or against us!!!" and the condemnation of anyone who associates with terrorists groups. For our government to be supporting terrorists in any way is a complete destruction of the Bush Administration's integrity. . .

Re: CNN reports US Military protecting terrorist group in Iraq
Come on guys, it's clear. US-supported terrorists kidnapping and murdering Iranians = good. Iranian soldiers kidnapping (but not killing) British sailors = bad.

Re: CNN reports US Military protecting terrorist group in Iraq
Well, you know, this isn't a game we're playing here. The American way of life depends on the survival of morally bankrupt foreign policies... somehow. Just because we're supporting terrorists doesn't mean that we're on the wrong side, it just means they're on the right side! Because our side is the right side, and we're going to win! Go 'Merica!
I wonder if the terrorist groups are considered part of the "coalition of the willing" |

How can you call the United States a terrorist group? Do you really believ that? Now that I know you consider your own country to be a terrorist state I have a better idea where you are coming from when I read/ignore your posts in the future.

Re: CNN reports US Military protecting terrorist group in Iraq
This story has been around for a long time
US funds Al Qaeda - but only in Iran And long before that. Apparently Sunni's killing Shiites are "freedom fighters" in Iran So it's not state sponsored terrorism, it's state sponsored "freedomism"
