Re: Bush threatens to Veto the next war funding bill.

Sorry about the previous post. Came home after drinking and was a little fiesty.

In that link it looks like it's just a report out on what happen in Q1 Iraq. This is good...this is bad type stuff. There is really no structured specific goal system or benchmark that is expected to be met and that's the problem. They can report out all they want, but someone needs to light a fire under their ass and say quit fucking around and get this shit done.

Re: Bush threatens to Veto the next war funding bill.

Defeat is not an option the democrats want hanging about their necks come next term. They want to attempt Bush into a premature withdrawal so they can blame him for THEIR stubborness.

ain't gonna happen.

If the democrats don't fund victory, they have ensured defeat.

They voted us into this war, they better figure out how to get us out of it.

The point is there ARE clearly defined strategies, goals, and benchmarks. The news simply doesnt report them, which makes people think there arent. The congressional liberals are happy to keep this misinformation going, while they have breifings from the military every single day.
