Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

Oh how I love the anti-globalization crowd. Their motto should be 'we have no clue what we're for, but we damn sure know what we're against'.

Sorry, can't afford Batra's books, still haven't recovered from that second great depression he predicted would happen in the early 1990s.

Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

Again,
News travels sooo slow some places.

Here's another one you won't be able to buy, but which speaks the truth:

Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

Yes, yes, I've seen all this before. Whenever people are literally the best off they've ever been in human history, there's always going to be illiberal types who find something to bitch about. Nothing new.

Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

Glad you can see. Suggest you update your perscription:

Public Citizen | Press Room - Nationwide Candidates Win by Fighting for New Trade Policies, Opposing NAFTA Model; No Fair Trader Loses, 37 “Free” Trade Seats Flip - 16k .

This despite the never-ending barrage of free trade propaganda we see on the media.

Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

What free-trade propaganda? The collapse of the Doha round was barely even noticed.

And I'm glad you're so happy that bashing China is a sound electoral strategy. Not seeing where it's supposed to get us however.

Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

While you were out:

The Media's Love Affair with "Free Trade".

Also, edition.cnn.com/2005/BUSINESS/11/28/wto.timeline/index.html - 35k .

Please note nothing about the fall in real wages since GATT, or the Congressional testimony linking trade agreements to Oval Office bribes and/or kickbacks.

Re: Eurotrash Hippy Wanabees and the G8 Summit

Sorry, I prefer to analyze news media for myself rather than being spoonfed the proper interpretations by self appointed oracles who believe anyone who disagrees with them is too stupid to critically analyze content on their own.

And yes, real wages have been falling since the 1970s. What's your point?

And seriously, why do you have this love affair with giving me URLs that contain absolutely no relevant information as if you're Moses bringing down the 10 commandments?

Boy, for a bunch of anarchists, they sure are organized. LOL

Of what character and caliber would you need to be to participate in such an unsettling thing? I got caught in a moonbat riot at a led Zeppelin concert where they crashed the gates, it was horrible. Me and my buddy helped a police officer covered in blood out of the crowed. It was horrifying and criminal.
And 30 years ago, Bob.
That’s a good point, thanks.
This, -all of this began when these ass-clown organizers became empowered during the Nam era. They began the environmental/global warming movements, feminism/abortion, hijacked and bastardized the civil rights movement, antichristian movement/A.C.L.U., anti-American ect movements. This is why you will never win an argument pro-liberalism, your foundation is built on quick sand…

Rocking I suppose, the moonbats were hanging out front without tickets.

Don’t be a butt munch. My memories of your so called ideology are bombings and killings. What do you expect me to point out on a hippy fest of violence and chaos thread. They are your foundation, they invented all of these movements you hold so dear.

13,000 riot police are already there, waiting to bust some mellons when things get really out of hand.
Now, I know that you probably think that I believe that the police should take a hard line on these hippy wanabees, but you'd be wrong. I say pass out free condoms and water, make sure that there are plenty of port-a-johns and let them exhaust themselves without a confrontation. Had I been born 30 years later, there but for the grace of God go I.
I'm not an environmentalist whacko, commie pinko or anarchist, but the opportunity for pulling hotties at such an event would be too tempting to avoid in my youth.
Seems strange to picture Germans chilling out and showing peace signs set to Rammstein and Techno music.

But if this is Germany's Woodstock, more power to them. To me, it seems they could stand to loosen up a little.
