There has been a great deal of interest in this case, and it certainly has significant political ramifications vis-a-vis the "war on terror".

It will be interesting to see what the jury returns about a half hour from now.

And why? Because Andrew says so?

That site is decidedly left-leaning. I noticed (and I didn't peruse the entire site so, if it's there, it's possible I missed it) that they didn't show the opinion of doctors who held different opinions than Hegarty. That can be due to two things: Either they don't care enough about those opinions to print them, or they're too afraid of what those opinions might say to print them.

Either way, I don't believe the scumbag was tortured...

Why? It appears that she was hired by Padilla's lawyers to examine him and deliver an opinion that he was not mentally fit. Not that there's anything wrong with that, but it certainly indicates a potential bias. Not only that, but she's basing her opinion on what Padilla said and nothing else. It must be taken with a grain of salt.

Anyway, as for the OP ... Always nice to see a terrorist brought to justice.
