Re: Koran handled more respectfully than the Bible?

There is no legitimate reason get your grubby hands all over someone else's book. Its just plain rude.

Mostly, Muslim reaction is induced only when any desecration is made against the Qur'an, or the Prophet or God. You would not be named a Muslim hater if you criticise anything about the Muslim world or the Muslim man or woman. But desecration of the Qur'an or the Prophet is something else, which cannot be explained through "freedom of speech."

I am one hundred per cent for more respectto be shown to Bible, as well as to Qur'an and Torah.

Also, it is our duty, I believe, to show a little more respect to the religion of a group of people we kept in prison and torture. You would be a Jew hater if you said "In WWII more Germans or Russians died than Jews; so, let's call these two, too, a Holocoust."

In Iraq, more than one million Muslim have been killed. In Afghanistan, thousands have been killed. In Kosovo, Bosnia, Chechnia, Somalia, Moro, Kashmir hundreds of thousands were killed. Before asking "Why do we respect Qur'an, in Guantanamo, more than we respect Bible in late night shows? and why do Muslims over-react?" ask, "Why do we kill them in Iraq?" Because, this is our nation's disgrace. It is a disgrace that we have reduced our nation, our tradition, and our history to a lower and lower level by fighting in an unjust war, killing, raping, prisoning, trafficking innocent people.
