Soviet Union has never been a threat to western countries. This was just an iilusion artificially made by the US-CIA GLAGIO program which used billions of dollars to false propaganda in Europe and USA. The purpose of the US warmongers was completely different - to expand its power in USA, Europe and in the whole world - all lies, lies and lies. This same lying strategy has been going on and on and the Afghanistan-Iraq-Iran war is just an evidence to that.

The fact that Nixon beat McGovern in a landslide doesn't suddenly make him an honorable person.

Ya, that's the point. And the fact that McGovern couldn't even beat Nixon - hell, he couldn't even come close, is the conclusion. McGovern has no credibility and since his landslide loss, has been a has-been of no relevance.

Apparently he is having a "senior moment" in that he believes anybody really cares what he has to say. This is just more evidence that once you hit 150 you need to shut up…. if we "impeach" Bush for the war….we also get rid of all the senators and congress who supported the war (with the same evidence)....
