I guess there will be many more Ida May Fullers taking advantage of the scam before Americans realize the truth or before the government runs out of funds.

It has the lowest administrative cost load of any pension fund in the world.
The government bond I was referring too, paid out at least 2% more on average than social security. I don't know if it was short or long term due to the curve?

Again, there are annuities & other instruments, that are safe where the return on investment would be enormous over the long haul.

Then, is it O.K. for them to give me back the thousands I have paid the government in taxes? Sorry, either way, it's a bail-out.

Federal Reserve Act

I suppose this falls under "and for other purposes"?
Another agency "formed" by the government that really screwed up.

Our government has no control over the Federal Reserve Bank. The fed. reserve bank run by now chief "Barney" is what I call him, consists of 11 banks with him in the saddle. He made the decision to bail out Bear Stearns.

Then the senators learned of this, & started questioning the practices of mortgage lenders regarding the sub-prime mortgages, lending to unqualified people, that got us all into this mess in the first place.
