he has I understand children as well ( 2 underage sons). I am wondering what’s up with that? He stays in his house with his children after he has been caught red handed distributing child porn? I don't get it.

Ironically, this guy was the most judgmental, pompous, arrogant, extreme leftist, uber- socialist, ultra-liberal, asshole on the radio. He is now exposed for what he really is, a disgusting sexual deviant that gets excited by seeing naked children sexually abused. I'm confident that the inmates at the federal prison he'll be calling home for the next 5 years, will give this corpulent pedophile a warm "Castro District" style greeting. He deserves no less.

I don't see how his crime necessarily means he will abuse his kids. I know people who own and distribute violent movies where people are depicted being killed with guns, yet they are allowed to both be around people and own guns.

A federal judge ruled today that graphic pictures of detainee abuse at Iraq's Abu Ghraib prison must be released over government claims that they could damage America's image.

Someone should tell them that bad press can be prevented by not abusing prisoners in the first place. Censorship is only needed to preserve the good reputation of those who have tortured and/or murdered already.

For one, liberalism is about civil liberties, whereas being a Roman Catholic priest entails helping to regulate people's consensual sex lives.

Second, and this may be more fundamental, liberals value truth, not ignorant comments about how clergy homosexuality is to blame for child abuse.
