So you are just assuming I'm a McCain supporter? My concern is simply with your tactics. I do not view things in a black and white world in which the only options are left and right or democrat and republican. I'm not on a particular team trying to tear another down.

I don't assume anything. My basic question was:

"The topic is a last minute NBC News and I thought it is worth to discuss. Why do you participate in this thread if your intention is to question my intentions?"

I believe it is big enough to note that McCain campaign is swarmed by lobbyists and special interests...

McCain had promised a clean campaign as far as I remember... As an undecided, it is my responsibility to question the candidates...

You are kidding here, right?

You are "undecided" on who you will vote for? Sure......

Out of eight or nine, five were about:

"Once agains Obama talking out of his ass."

"WV keeps distanc from Obama."

"Obama: "I want to be the President of..."

"Obama may levy $15 Billion..."

"The Wright time for Obama to..."

And instead of me, he barely shows up other categories...

I don't say he is doing something wrong by this; he is quite right to express himself the way that he likes most, just as I am doing here... What's odd to me is that you fail to notice other repetitive posters other than me...

Re: Lobbyists and Special Interests Swarm in McCain Campaign

It's a matter of degree, Sheriff - you've started nearly 70 threads, at least 68 of which are on one of 2 topics - Obama's saintliness, or McCain's evil ways.

By your own count above, nearly half of LS' threads are on other topics. See the difference?

Yeah, I am. I still question Barack's ME policy, in fact.

I believe he is too soft towards Israel and it was not ethical in my opinion for him to celebrate Israel's 60th anniversary on his campaign web site...

Did he celebrate DR Congo's 44th anniversary?

If you're looking for moon's mythical pro-Palestinian candidate, I can help.

There isn't one.

Maybe Ron Paul.

But as I say, road to the White House goes through AIPAC. Aren't I damn right?

Re: Lobbyists and Special Interests Swarm in McCain Campaign

Sorry, I should have specified viable candidates. Ron Paul is, as I've been saying since his campaign started, an also-ran footnote.

Re: Lobbyists and Special Interests Swarm in McCain Campaign

If there's one reality about politics, it's that special interests and lobbyists have become part of the political structure. Any candidate who says he won't be influenced by them, and that he won't take money from them, is completely full of shit...

Lobbyism, as long as all sides are given enough means and an equal race line, is a useful way of collecting vital information in an easy and cheap way.

It becomes dangerous only if some grab the big chunk of power while the rest cannot make themselves heard.

And it's naive to think that everyone will present as effective a position, or conduct themselves in a manner that's conducive to a level playing field.

It'll never happen.

The lobbyists and special interest groups with the most to offer a candidate are the ones the candidate will listen to. Period.

Is it fair? Fuck no, it's not fair. It's politics...

Perhaps it is more than a "having most to offer" game...

It is a "money game"...
