Obama announces plans for equal co-operation between UK and US

UK's special relationship with US needs to be recalibrated, Obama tells ex-pats in Britain | World news | The Guardian

Wasn't sure weither to put this in the International Politics or breaking news section.

Anyways, seems like a good idea, and will be warmly welcomed overhere where he's hugly popular.

A 20 year active member of a black racialist church is popular in the United Kingdom? So much for the illusion that Britain is an anti-racist society.

As I often find myself asking when it comes to B. Hussein Obama:

Where's the beef?

Let's see what useful information we can acquire from his own words:

WTF does he mean? What, specifically, would he have done (or, better, in the future, do) different?

I can guess at some things, but that's hardly the point.

I cannot see how that dope is gaining traction with anybody given that all he does is express naive platitudes. Are y'all (his supporters and fans) really that stupid?

The son of a bitch could belch out some shit about fixing the, um, "gypsy moth caterpillar problem" and there would be much rejoicing amongst the morons too smitten by idiotic political posturing to give a rat's ass what "gypsy moths caterpillars" are, what the "problem" with them is, or, most importantly, what he actually thinks he can do about it (and whether that "solution" is based in reality).

The article above is nothing but a puff piece. 90% of its content is nothing but editorializing on the part of the so-called journalist responsible for writing it.

Somebody tell that dingbat meatsocket Gwyneth Paltrow that John McCain, too, has "lived outside the US [and] therefore had 'experience of other cultures'." In excess of 5 and one-half years, by my reckoning. He was born outside the 50 U.S. states, FFS.

Since he keeps making his experience outside the country such an issue, somebody needs to ask B. Hussein how many servants his family employed in Indonesia and if they paid them in oranges and Hershey bars.

Don't you see? It's very clear....

Anyone who's got Hussein as their first, last, or middle name seeks to destroy the world and all of human kind.

By declaring the U.K as a partner, he's saying that the U.K. will Co-Rule the post-apacolyptic landscape alongside the U.S. and will spare them the fate of the rest of the non-American world (all terrorist nations..)

Pfft...I'm doubting the UK will even be able to hold onto the Fauklands in the semi-near future, let alone conquer the world. The Argentinians are going to have a shitload of oil money to spend on war toys in the next decade or so.

For the last fucking time, Argentina has no intention of regaining the Malvinas/Falklands by force.

They just hit the oil lottery. Give it a few years. You'll see.

But thanks for speculating along with me. Because that's all you are doing.

Yours is speculation. Mine is informed speculation.

Well, Obama does have the most detailed policy proposals of all the main candidates (look at his website).

Well it looks like he wants to make the relationship more two way-instead of one way. The US has very little support in te UK-becuase we dislike the way that Bush treated us, anti-americanism is a real problem-just look at shows like Top Gear and British films-the US is rarley portrayed positivly. This will be very welcome in Britian and is a firm policy commitment.

As I say he has the most detailed policy positions of any candidate. I agree the artical isn;t great.

I'm not sure I follow. Is this something important to worry about regarding the US?

...and WTF do you know about what is going to happen within that country over the next 10-20 years?

They get a shithead regime in charge (or even significant elements) and *boom*, your Madam will have all the credibility of this one:

We're talking a lot of money coming their way. The only thing for certain that can be said about Argentina is that it will change. How it will change, you cannot pretend to know.

Re: Obama announces plans for equal co-operation between UK and US

There are plenty of specifics spelled out on Obama's web site. He has put out more detailed plans than any other candidate in this election from either party. If he doesn't spell out all of the bullet points in campaign speeches, that only shows that he knows how to give a speech without putting his listeners to sleep.
