I never heard of any of the swift boaters "refuting their claims". I believe there were only about 20 of them. They were outraged at Kerry, served along side of him. Kerry to-date has never released his military medical records, to show exactly what type of injuries he received purple hearts for. That is suspicious in itself. As we all know 3 purple hearts & you're out of Viet Nam. Kerry managed to exit Viet Nam 3 months after he got there, which is highly unusual.

My husband is a Viet Nam Vet--his distain toward Kerry regarding Viet Nam is what made him vote against him. There were so many vets that were outraged at Kerry's statements after he got back, that Kerry didn't have a snow-balls chance in hell of winning them over.

He didn't have to release the medical records - duh. He received a piece of shrapnel in his arm that was removed from medic J. C. Carreon who applied bacitracin and a bandage while Kerry was eager to get back into action.

So the Swiftys are crying that Kerry is no war hero because they think he wasn't wounded enough. The fact is - these swifty's who didn't even know Kerry don't think he's republican enough to be a war hero, or a President.

WTF? Kerry was active in NAM as a swiftboater for ONLY 90 days.
He provided his OWN after action reports to gain his 3 purple hearts, he wrote them, he manufactured them and he lied to get them.
