T. Boone Chickens

Apparently, T. Boone is backing off his wager, trumpeted here by right wingers, and on the Oxycontin Rush Limbaugh show.

Originally, T. Boone Pickens offered a million dollars to anyone that could disprove even one of the Swift Boat Liars claims.

Then people actually took him up, ooooops, time to rewrite the bet.

Apparently what he meant to say is that the money was for all John Kerry's tapes, films, diaries plus it was limited to a couple of TV ads. Apparently even T. Boone knew that the group he was funding was spreading malicious lies..........
Too bad the morons who repeat these lies aren't as clever as t.Boone Chickens.

Apparently it took t. Boone until today to determine that Kerry's crew were not a reliable source of information, and that what he really meant was that he needed to go through all John Kerry's Vietnam records.

The less you know, the more likely you are to support the president.
Of course he refuted the claims, when Time magazine sent a reporter down the river, the former viet cong who had been there refuted the claims.
The people who were on the boat with Kerry refuted the claims, the Navy refuted the claims.

But hey, some people don't see the Navy and the people who were on the boat with Kerry at the time, or even the Vietnamese who were there as reliable sources. They would rather trust people who weren't there and who were being paid by the GOP as a far more trustworthy source. Because Logic is a Liberal disease.

Had Kerry refuted the claims he would have gotten the money.

I do understand he has a hat. Even to this day...

Only if T.Boone Pickens was an honorable man, apparently these Texas guys are big talkers, but no shows when it comes time to pay up.
We have a phrase here in the Bay State for people like that, we call them "Lying Mother Fuckers".
And the people who get fooled into repeating the lies, we call "friggin' morons".

Re: T. Boone Chickens

One has to wonder why Goober is so concerned about the accuracy of claims about people he called "pampered losers".

Goober's attack on all our armed forces is every bit as vile as anything the Swiftboat vets ever said about Kerry.....

I'd like to see the documentation the men provided. Maybe these guys will make it public?

maybe their eyewitness testimony, they were on the boat with Kerry when this stuff happened.

it's been around for 4 years now
Media Matters - FOX's Snow lied about Navy documents to defend Swift Boat Vets attacks
Media Matters - Submerging the truth about Swift Boat Vets on Hannity & Colmes , Scarborough Country
Media Matters - Who is Steve Gardner?; Swift Boat Vet "eyewitness" was not present for events leading to Kerry's medals or Purple Hearts

lalalalalalala. No he didn't, no he didn't. I'm not listening i'm not listening. Time magazine and everyone in the entire world who disagrees with me are lying pinko faggots lalalalalalala

Glad to see conservative methods of debate are still up to the standard we've come to expect.

Anyone still spreading these lies insults our armed forces and cheapens every medal ever awarded.
