You're right. I dont know what the Palin's family would do if they'd faced that situation, but I'm not going to say they wouldnt take that option.

How am I showing bigotry towards them? I'm relying what I've read by those that say that they're conservative. Ask the members of the CCofC.They're as conservative as they come. Please I've read enough of the bigots statements regarding this issue to know where most of them stand. I didnt deny that it was wrong; but its our reality.
You show bigotry by assuming they will do something you feel is hypocritical.

In your hypothetical what they actually would do is a mystery, but it doesn't stop you from casting aspersions on their character. This is bigotry.

They are conservatives therefore, according to your stereotypes, racists, even though they haven't made a racist statement or committed a racist act. They are automatically racists because of their political afilliations.

You assumed that they would act a particular way. Just because you feel people will agree with you doesn't make you're assumptions correct. You seem to be a nice person but what you believe is not so nice.

You are cynical about conservatives, any conservatives. You lump them all into the same category in a negative way. This is bigotry and a byproduct of the biased media. Even after the garbage we've been seeing from them the last week as far as Palin is concerned you still don't see it.

If you can't see it now I don't know what will make you see it.

Perhaps all of the brainwashing the Dems and the Drive By Media has been using has worked on you.

Its clear she's cynical about conservatives, its not clear she's bigoted against blacks.

BTW re pregnancy. Did you guys see The Daily Show with Jon Stewart showing Bill O'Reilly being 'all reasonable' about this teenage pregnancy?

Then they show him on the pregnancy of Britney Spears's 17 yr old sister - he calls the parents 'pinheads'!!!!!!

You know what the implications are of course.

You cons are so funny.

The turn of the Century was a different time Steve. Keep it up though, I hope you voice this opinion loudly and proudly for all American's to hear. Let the people know just how big of a wack job, and partisan your party really is. I mean you really are going to support teen pregnancy now that it's convenient for you? Wow, just wow.
Well, it's pretty fucking evident that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about.

First, nowehere have I "supported" teen pregnancy. I merely said that she's not under age under Alaska law. If you care to take issue with that, please do, but it's a fact. The daughter is 17, and the age of consent is 16. That's not an opinion, that's a fact.

I know libs abhor facts, but I don't give a fuck.

Second, I'm not a Republican; never have been.

But, please, keep it up. Please keep your ignorance of my party affiliation out there for all to see. I was going to make you look silly, but you're doing an admirable job on your own...

I've seen it for years.

It picks fun at politics, mostly Bush and Republicans.

Because the writers are mostly Liberals they have a field-day with them.

Comedy Central is Liberally biased because their ownership is biased.

Comedy Central is owned by Viacom which owns Dreamworks and Paramount which owns CBS, Bush's most ardent critic, source of Rathergate.

Not really a revelation to say the Daily Show is mostly liberal is it?

Theyd even admit that themselves. Still for liberals they give it to the Democrats quite a bit too.

I had hopes for the 'half hour news hour', but was somewhat disappointed that it was sooooooooooo embarrassingly shit. It seemed like an attempt by the right to say 'hey we can be funny too guys!'

Here's a quote from an interesting article;

Quote:
The point of the Daily Show, especially when it launched 11 years ago under Craig Kilborn, was never to provide a liberal take on the news. It was to make fun of the news. Early Daily Show segments parodied the movie review, human interest story, in-house ranter (Back in Black) and in-studio debate (Even Stevphen) segments of crappy local and national news broadcasts. The show got more political in the Bush era, but so did, uh everything - we've had two more land wars and around 20 percent more voter turnout then we did in the latter Clinton years.
Moreover, the Daily Show manages to be a liberal show that is not a partisan Democrat show. I doubt the right could pull off the same trick.

You sell them short.

Let's face it, most comedians make fun of what is easy to make fun of.

Most comedians are Liberals.

It's how the target takes the jokes that are made at their expense that is important.

Whenever Obama is made fun of he starts whining....calling them vicious personal attacks. A few harmless jabs from Republicans during the Convention were labeled to be smears and personal attacks. Obama and Biden did the same to McCain and all McCain said was "This is your week, contrats and well done."

Why are most comedians liberals?

Why is important how targets take jokes? Your accusations about Obama, where they jokes or something else? What exactly are you talking about?

Moreover, what do you think the Daily Show should do about Obama?

Most comedians come out of New York. Most of them don't get a shot unless they play the game. Many times you won't get a chance to be seen if you don't go along with the Liberal establishment in the business.

I think it is important how you take a joke. If you act like a spoiled child or throw a fit because somebody dares to make fun of you it shows character traits that nobody can admire.

I don't think the Daily Show should do anything about Obama. If they want to keep viewers they should appear non-biased. There's plenty to make fun of with him. But the truth is, he isn't a funny guy. I guess the most you can do is make fun of what he says because he does say plenty of stupid things. Also you can make fun of his Messiah complex. But I wouldn't presume to tell the Daily Show what to do.

Interesting comments. Most comedians come out of New York and thus they must please liberals audiences to get ahead.

Do you really think thats plausible in a country of 300 million people?

Fair enough. What do you think Obama should have taken better that he didnt?

Are you sure? He's got a reputation for an assured touch in his utterances.

Well, Im not sure youve actually watched the Daily Show much because thats one thing they do get him on. Though wether he's got a complex about himself is still unknown.

There's no desputing his complex.

He speaks of being a former Senator like he is already President.

Quote:
On CNN, September 1, 2008: "One of the pledges I made when I was a Senator and one of the pledges that I intend to keep as president..." -- Senator Barack Obama Click here to watch: YouTube - Obama Gaffe: Thinks He Is Already President Paid for by the Republican National Committee.
Republican National Committee: '...when I was a Senator...' - Press Releases - CNBC.com
Also his changing of the Presidential seal to bear his name, the insistance on changing the venue to Invesco Field to fit that of JFK's acceptance address, the Greek columns on the set to resemble the White House or the Lincoln Memorial, his world tour which was intended to make him look like he was already President , and his attempt to appear at the Berlin Wall to make himself look like Reagan.

The examples are endless.

The way he addressed criticisms at the RNC are in my signature.
