The examples are endless.

The way he addressed criticisms at the RNC are in my signature.
yet you said Messiah complex, not presidential complex.

Besides, he hasnt really been a Senator for some time now. He's been a candidate.

Jfk's field. Wasnt that just doing the exact same thing JFK did ?
The greek columns thing. Didnt bush do that too?

Re world tours and berlin wall, I cant say what he was attempting.

So you want to ignore his victory speech when he discovered that he had become the presumed nominee.

YouTube - Barack Obama Democratic Nomination Victory Speech

Go to the end of the speech. This is what he said:

Quote:
"Because if we are willing to work for it, and fight for it, and believe in it, then I am absolutely certain that generations from now, we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless; this was the moment when the rise of the oceans began to slow and our planet began to heal; this was the moment when we ended a war and secured our nation and restored our image as the last, best hope on Earth."

Barack Obama’s Democratic Nomination Victory Speech : Political Kudzu
The moment Obama speaks of is when he won the nomination.

Obama assumes that just winning the nomination has caused everything in the whole world to change.

I honestly fail to see your point there. Care to explain it to me?

No.

I would think it was pretty clear.

Re: Palin Speech

You're quoting some fine rhetoric found in alot of successful campaigns. And acting offended by it, or at least presuming it is in some way negative. I don't know what I'm supposed to figure out, other then you are being blatantly partisan for no comprehensible reason.

No, but you are being partisan.

I was just pointing out something that seemed a bit odd and presumptive of Obama which anyone with an open mind would find a bit of a stretch.

He often makes statements similar to this.

His whole campaign is based around his belief that he is making history.

I think he is full of himself and it shows..........every day.

Re: Palin Speech

Do you find it equally as odd when McCain is introduced as "...the next president of the United States"?

No, because they always do that.

I think this is the first time I can remember that anyone has said he effects the mountains and the oceans and can heal the sick and feed the poor.

Because "counter culture" sells.....and the gov. and admin. can be a funny mechanism ..I tried watching Stewart and Colbert, my wife and I tivoed 2 weeks worth of each, we watched them obver a 2 weeks bits at a time......the take away was funny stuff, but it gets bored seeing one side pummeled like 8-1......it gets annoying.....after a while it comes across as dishonest and agenda driven....

letterman is a partisan but at least his top ten hits everyone, hill bill obama McCain all of them, so as far as that bit goes its watch able...

Actually theyve always done both 'the next pres...etc' and the 'we're making history here...etc' routine.

This attackis invalid.

Let me ask you a question?

Do you think Obama feels he can cause the changes he claims, heal the sick, feed the hungry, calm mountains and oceans?
