Aye, I've noted this. Odd that they persist with it as well as it worked for Gore and Kerry.

Note the rhetoric, too - "collapsing", "demise", "pussy", just for example. Who wants to vote for a loser? It's a hope that the subtle implications will take hold; they consistently underestimate the intelligence of others at their own cost of credibility. It's an amateurish application of propaganda techniques.

Besides leadership is not reading what your staffers have for you, you listen to the people who know, then you decide how to knit them all together. Sort of like a teacher listening to her pupils then pulling it together.

THere is a reason GOd gave us two ears and one mouth. BHO doesn't seem to have figured that out yet.
The poll you cited does not say what the methodology is. Doesn't say how many in each party participated in it.

But Fox's poll's methodology can be read very easily and it's transparent. A 9 point swing for Obama in 2 weeks time.

Let's play the poll game:
Quote:
Thursday, September 25, 2008

The Rasmussen Reports daily Presidential Tracking Poll for Thursday shows Barack Obama attracting 49% of the vote while John McCain earns 46%....
Statistically the same.

Re: McCain gives up a blow-out debate win--for us!

Personally, it seems that this isnt a good idea for McCain at all...now i dont know for sure, but many people believe that McCain doesnt know what to do...He woke up and Obama was up 9 points in the election...a source on the news said if the election was held yesterday obama would have won the election by popular vote. does that mean electoral vote? no. bt according to the recent poll, obama was up. it seems to me that McCain is concerned and does not know what to do. i could be wrong, but it makes sense. im not saying McCain is a bad/unsmart guy, and maybe this is stratagy...but i honestly doubt it. i dont believe this is a "Blow-Out" at all...

OK. You don't like Rasmussen? Fine. We'll go with your link to RCP.

It's a tie.

Look at the state-by-state races. The trends this weeks are clear. Obama is spreading his wings in New Mexico, Michigan, Iowa, and now Florida and Ohio and Virginia are tightening because McCain is losing indies.

Poll games are not my style. BHO and JSM are in a tie, contrary to your claims of some sort of "collapse" and a "spreading [of] wings". LMAO, your rhetoric is amusing.

No. I do like Ras. But they use conservative estimates. That was a factual observation, not an opinion.

Whatever you say. I'll just believe Si from now on instead of actual numbers from over 12 battleground states.
