Funny.....you have Obama telling his peons to "get in their faces."

Most people tend to get violent when someone invades their personal space up in their face.

Re: McCain Campaigner Attacked, B Cut into her face

This stuff is going on on both sides and it needs to stop. I got this in my email today (after I sent the person a factcheck.org link about one of McCain's email untruths):
Quote:
that was not all true but hey if you want some ni**er who thinks we have 57 states and that don't even know when tv was invented or when president Roosevelt was in office then be my guest and vote what you want. But know this i will not mess up this country anymore then it already is cause if that ni**er gets in office he will ruin us i can promise you that. I wish somebody would shoot him.
Things like the above and the various racial epitaphs and sexists comment, the acts of violence are uncalled for no matter which side is guilty.

I hope they catch the guy and lock him up for a long time. I don't see how this is relevant to the election.

It's relevant, because according to the report, but for the victim's McCain sticker, she would have just been mugged and not had a scar in the shape of a "B" on her face. McCain is a candidate for POTUS this year. Make sense?

Probably "B" for "Bloods", like they did in NYC in the late 80s.

Your Jewish friends will make sure that the perpetrator is not charged with a hate crime.

Whoopi Goldberg is rumored to have visited, too.

All of this catch-all blame game about liberal or conservative media (media bias being entirely dependent on which flavor of partisan you are, of course - the media itself is completely irrelevant to this copout) and "fairness" reminds me of kids in a kindergarten. But it's not fair! If Johnny had pooped on the rug, he wouldn't have had to sit in the corner!

It's usually wrong, it's always whiny, and even when there is the occasional bit of merit, hey, life isn't fair always fair (but it's also not always conspiring to persecute you, either).

And just when I thought this whole thing couldn't get any sillier, there you have it.

You might have a point if there were any other checks and balances we could depend on in an upcoming Obama administration. With Obama, Pelosi and Reed running amock with the blessing of MSNBC and the New York Times, it is a very real problem. Where will the checks and balances be if we can't trust our watchdogs in the media?

Well that explains what it has to do with the campaign, but not how it's relevant. In other words, this should not have any significant bearing on the campaign, it was a random mugging that turned ugly because some scumbag happened to not like McCain.

Since the media is a for-profit entity, I don't think it makes sense to trust them exclusively with providing a check on increasing Democrat power. I would trust the court system and the voters to do that. The media is fickle and in the business of, well, business - it'll be happy to expose Democrat nonsense if and when the country swings back to being sick of the Democrats.

Edit: But you do raise a good point - I'm not really thrilled about Dems having a "super" majority in Congress (possibly) and the presidency.

What's the difference between an incident "[having] to do with the campaign" and it being relevant to the campaign?
