I wasn't going near this story until it developed more. It didn't pass the smell test from jump street.

As my usual consistent self, however, it was my [perhaps vain] hope that this and its participants would get equal and severe treatment in respect to the following:

- It was a real
- It was fake
- It was an actual supporter of McCain
- It was a plant/supporter of Obama
- As compared to other real hate crimes
- As compared to other fake hate crimes

As it has panned out, however, I actually lean towards the harshest of punishments. It appears it was a fake and this actually probably is a McCain supporter (save your conspiracy theories, tinfoil-chapeau people) and the very nature of the timing and placement of the fraud (Western PA, swing state, days from the election) is especially rotten (as compared to your average common lefty-caused campus-based non-election-season faked hate crimes {link}). Throw the book at this bitch and repudiate her actions from the left and right. Embarrass her and her family to Lynndie England levels.

The only thing that should even further magnify the punishment is if it does, in fact, turn out that this is a Obamamaniac. If nothing else, to remove the inevitable taint from my side of the fence, completely. I wonder, even in that case, if the media would allow such a distance to be established. Probably not. The MSM sucks like that.

What I'm not interested in, however, is somebody divining a statement from this or drawing parallels to real concerns/events. Don't want to hear it was done in order to "bring awareness" to this or that. I don't figure that will be much of a concern because it happened on the conservative side of the fence. We're not big on making excuses for behavior such as this.

This case should have been very obvious. Not only did she carve it backwards which happens in a mirror, but real opportunistic street hood robbers/slashers aren't usually so interested to spend time and effort at the scene to be artistically perfectionist. Check out the 'b'. Not exactly the most typical zorro scratches of a crazed malicious butcher who is robbing, mutilating and running off.

It's sad to have seen this old game played again by this woman, and especially employing race for the political angle hoax this close to election day in a contested national election.
