I figure he got a big head from hearing his "name" used so many times and mistakenly believed they gave a shit about him. I think he's figured it out. It's probably why he's pissed off now.

Re: The GOP Losses Another One Of Their Big Guns...
Joe accomplished something the drivebys wouldn't, expose Obama for what he is in his own words. It was up to McCain and the GOP to provide an alternative.
They still haven't managed that. I don't blame Joe for growing tired of them. Though I note he doesn't want to piss off grandpa.

Re: The GOP Losses Another One Of Their Big Guns...
It is telling how commies far and wide persecuted Joe for simply asking a question when Obama staged a publicity stunt in front of Joe's house.

Re: The GOP Losses Another One Of Their Big Guns...
It's quite funny how folks like Steve like to comfortably sit back and claim that its only Libs that are/were interested in Joe Wurzemburger or however you spell his name. When it has been only GOP and Conservative platforms that has bothered to feature him any and everywhere. It wasn't a Lib company that hired him as a journalist. You've never seen him featured in prominent shows on ABC, CBS, NBC or MSBC, or CNN...I believe only FOOXNews gave him that platform. He went touring with McCain and his GOP campaign, he was at the APAC, he speaks at GOP and Conservative rallies, etc., etc., etc., How ignorant and disinginuous must people like Steve and his ilk be?

Of course, these stations wouldn't put Joe - or anyone else who doesn't fit with their agenda on their schedules. They're liberal, whereas what we actually need in the US, is UNBAISED media reporting. Shame that we are unlikely to get it.

Moi? Perhaps you'll be kind enough to point out where I ever said only libs were interested in him. GOP voters were, in fact, very interested. His simple little question to the then-nominee was a question that needed to be asked, and he was rightfully lauded for asking it. My point, and this is supported by the fact that you felt you needed to start this thread, is that libs seem to have latched onto JTP like a baby on a tit. You want to believe that he's some iconic figure in the GOP, and he's not. He's not, regardless of how much you think he might be. Those on the right probably still admire him to a degree, for having the balls that libs lack. So, before you go accusing someone of being "ignorant", take a good, long hard look in the mirror so you'll know what true, unadulterated ignorance actually looks like...

Re: The GOP Losses Another One Of Their Big Guns...
quite funny....how...
What a riot, when people throw around the term ignorant when they themselves fail to comprehend even in the simplest terms that the reason why joe became famous at all was the; a) obama fuck up as in his answer, b) the media had to destroy joe because they had caught their man out c) did as commodore said, broadcast the issue, because they had to be seen in their simple minds as ‘fair’ since the cons made an issue of his answer, their answer was to broadcast every little harmful nit totally absent ANY objectivity, they were fed by obama operatives in gov. of ohio and elsewhere….. And d) the real ignorance, almost criminal in its lack of ability to think things through is; IF they did this to joe, they can and will one day do it to you. Go ahead, laugh it up... Ignorance truly is bliss I have been told....

Whats' idiotic about that? He might just have lost McCain the election. I knew some Republicans, (and yes, I DO know some, quite a few, really) who were going to just stay home or hold their noses and still vote for McCain but for whom this insult to their intelligence was just the final straw. "Ya see all us Republicans we're all like just living in dis big medieval village and I'm Joe da plummer and dats Tom the Miller and Walter the Fletcher and there's William the ComputerTechnician and Michael Systemsanalystson and..... Thank you, Joe. You may have saved the USA. And does anyone sense one of the next Libertarian candidates??

Re: The GOP Losses Another One Of Their Big Guns...

He's just some average Joe that lived a few miles away from me off of Airport Highway. I know him. And kudos to him for capitalizing on his accidental fame. What is disgusting is how the leftist media mercilessly attacked him and treated him as some kind of major threat. He didn't ask Obama to walk down his street. He was just playing with his kid in his front yard when Obama's entorage came goose-steeping down the street with great fanfare and liberal media adulation. He simply asked a rhetorical question that the leftist media deemed to be politically incorrect. And he was persecuted for daring to ask Obama a question that wasn't along the lines of "may I please kiss your ass messiah?" Then amid allegations that Obama was a socialist, Obama made his infamous "spread the wealth around" statement in response to Joe's question. Basically admitting that he's a commie/pinko. The left got pissed off because Joe squeezed a little tidbit of truth out of Obama and they had to use millions of dollars worth of air-time to recover from the mistake. And the way they did that was to attack Joe personally and try to impugn his charachter.

Was the question he asked you, in the very first line of his post, so difficult that you're unable to answer it?
