you see, some of us prefer a complete, as opposed to delusional, version of reality.
One last attempt.

Can you show us, since you claim this was a "rough draft", where the final was that supersedes it?

Matt
1 Forecasts of the unemployment rate without the recovery plan vary substantially. Some private forecasters anticipate
unemployment rates as high as 11% in the absence of action.
2 These estimates, like the aggregate ones, are subject to substantial margins of error. One additional source of
uncertainty concerns the impact of the state fiscal relief. We believe that the rule of thumb that 60% of funds devoted
to state relief will be used to prevent spending cuts and that 30% will be used to prevent tax increases, and that these
effects will occur with a lag of about three months, are good first approximations.

that does not sound like a 'specific' claim to me, seeing as how this is some document that originated BEFORE THERE WAS AN OBAMA ADMINISTRATION.

reality doesn't concern you much, huh?

Re: Holy Hell...470,000 job loss in June, national 9.5%

Some people see the light that shows the door and walk through, other see the light but continue to look and the door and do nothing.

While it takes time to change the country, while it takes miles for a freight train to stop, some should not be going around talking big about how THEY are going to change things with in a SHORT time frame.

Obama and the rest of the DNC said last summer that they had these plans and that THEY where going to move to get the country moving quickly...

Now in the life of the sun, they are moving quickly, in the life of a fly? oh that is another story.

Hell, the story as to when this last down trun started keeps getting moved back to an earlier date,, given time it should get back to just before Clinton left office.

logic doesn't concern you either. You assume that because some silly PDF exists from the 'office of the vice president elect' that there MUST be some document from the REAL administration that supersedes it?

for all we know you have looked at this PDF more than anyone in washington.

but don't let that stop you from representing this as a claim of the obama administration.

Matt .. I'll be proactive and paste the article here that indicates this 8% cap, so that "Obama lovers" can see that their beloved leader had supported these claims to substantiate the spending.

Obama repackages stimulus plans with old promises

"At the time, our forecast seemed reasonable," Vice President Joe Biden's top economic adviser, Jared Bernstein, said Monday, explaining that the White House underestimated the scope of the recession. "Now, looking back, it was clearly too optimistic."

By now, according to earlier White House economic models, the nation's unemployment rate should be on the decline. The forecasts used to drum up support for the plan projected today's unemployment would be about 8 percent. Instead, it sits at 9.4 percent, the highest in more than 25 years.

House Dem: Obama may have oversold road stimulus
The Associated Press
Posted: 05/11/2009 08:54:58 AM PDT

WASHINGTON—A top congressional Democrat says the White House may have oversold the roads-and-bridges component of the historic stimulus law.
An Associated Press analysis of the first $19 billion in transportation spending showed that communities most in need of jobs are least likely to benefit from the program.

A spokesman for Minnesota Rep. James Oberstar, who leads the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, says the White House shouldn't have billed road money as the signature component of the stimulus, or as a surefire boost to needy communities.

Spokesman Jim Berard says Washington is limited in how it can tell states where to spend the money. Needy communities might lose out in the short term but he says they'll benefit from other aspects of the stimulus bill.

representing this graph as a statement of the obama adminstration is like digging through bush adminstration emails from one to the other and representing these private emails as statements to the public.

the appetite for delusion is astounding.

Now we'll hear that the Vice President was speaking in draft, or he's not a member of the administration.

The made-up office - "Office of President Elect" - was Obama's transitional period between the final electoral vote and January 20. You do realize that don't you?

it originated from the 'office of the vice president elect.' i know to you that means that the VP said it. however, the possessors of brains know that the document has two names on it. (hint: neither is biden or obama)

When some thing good happens it is "Gods Will"
When some thing bad happens it is "Gods Will"

Either way it is Gods will....

Some people are traped in a Ring Box, while others have seen that there is a way out of it and that there is much larger box out there and move out of the ring box....

Re: Holy Hell...470,000 job loss in June, national 9.5%

From the almighty PDF of the vice president elect:

G. Conclusions
This study has sought to investigate the likely job creation effects of the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Plan currently under consideration. As emphasized at many points in the analysis,
there is substantial uncertainty around all of our estimates.
Nevertheless, we believe they can
provide useful guidance as we go forward. Among the key lessons from the analysis are:

wow, these sound like absolute promises!!!!!

let me guess, ole larson, you aren't interested in representing the entire document as truth, are you? just the part that helps you simplistically oppose the bammy administration.
