Would have been great if there was a vote or something with a load of possible GOP candidates for president and members of the Republican party could vote for which one they like.

Wow, that would mean McCain wasn't the only option.... But that never happened...

Couldn't beat Obama either... I think the country discovered the the same old crap healthcare and getting involved in unnecessary wars was not the way to go.. Life a bitch now that the adults are back in charge..

I don't recall claiming conservatives would back Obama. What I said was that Republicans have the distinction of uniting behind whatever piece of shit is trotted out, then defending them the duration of their administration. I really don't know how you manage it.

Dude your way out of line.

Lets not forget the pieces of shit you wacko's unite under.

Blatant racists, terrorists, people who cheat on their dying wives, pathological liars and all out delusional people like Pelosi.

Where the fuck do I begin?

The best ammo you libs have are republicans that are not true to them selves while the majority of liberals lie redundantly, smack people in the face and get blow jobs while smoking crack.

Don't even start with the "republicans back fuckheads" knee jerk syndrome.

At the rate this country is going with the potential young voters Marion Barry will be president in 2016.

Sorry, republicans do bad shit but all politicians are full of them selves but liberals will back the biggest pieces of shit on the face of this earth if they make a promise to the people...... of course that will be broken.

Thanks so much...

That text can be accessed...which is why I said, "it is rumored." That gets me off the hook as not a party in litigation in the matter. What is "rumored" may or may not be true but what is true is that it is, "rumored."

If you are that interested in the matter I am sure you can find information on the web.

Maybe it's in the same box as Dr. No's long form BC.

Ethics report: Palin abused authority - Decision '08- msnbc.com

Oh, ETHICS violations.

I thought, maybe, she said the word "negro" or something...

Democrats do the same thing with their candidates.

You act surprised...

But why the constant need to discuss her? Why the spiteful, nasty remarks about her family?

I have seen not one nasty remark about Obama's rugrats yet it is acceptable to denigrate Palin's family?

It does not help the left when they do not draw boundaries about what is and is not acceptable.

Palin isn't running in '12.... if she does, then fine - have at it.

CG,

1. There was some nasty things said on both sides about kids by the media. Chelsea Clinton had probably the worst of it.
2. Obama uses his kids in the campaign very scarcely.
3. Palin did not and had her kids on stage a lot during the campaign.
4. Palin did put her son in the equation by saying "Obama's "Death Panel" Could Kill My Down Syndrome Baby". This was a disgraceful statement which has been refuted by independent observers. She can't say that and expect nothing...

Again it is the Media which is doing this and the Dems can't control anyone there better than the GOP. Ann Coulter says worse things than almost anyone on TV.

The reason she is discussed is not some liberal agenda, it is because it is news. I say the GOP is sorry the day they heard her name ever mentioned. She is what divides there party. She turns off a huge section of the GOP party yet is very popular in other sections of the party. She is not a moderate, she is not dumb but doesn't have the knowledge or intellectual gravitas to command a major national position, IMO.

But we had this discussion before and I always have said politicians families should be kept out of politics and Sarah Palin should have known well not to mention or display them in public.

I have made none, nor have any been made in this discussion. lets not stereotype and mythologize here. we can all watch the news for that.

she has mentioned that she is interested, and she continues to inject herself into the public spotlight by either quitting jobs for quick attention, or by commenting publicly on current debates.

so yes, we will have at it here, or at least discuss the legitimacy of her views and opinions, because she continues to spew them into the national conversation.

how do you feel about republicans stating her comments on healthcare reform were unguided?

gee, when the republicans find fault with your criticism of health care, why the hell are you talking?

Two words: AMY CARTER

That kid got raked over the coals repeatedly.

In all fairness, though, she was pretty fuckin' ugly...

I couldn't give a rats ass what the Republicans have said about Palin. I'm not a Republican.

I don't care if Republicans find fault with my criticism of health care, I'm not a Republican.

Which bit of the phrase " I AM NOT A REPUBLICAN" is too complicated for you?

Your pompous and insecure post would make a lot more sense if you had already directly told me "I am not a republican"

You are basically trying to criticize me for not understanding words you had yet to speak.

you are quite the intellectual warrior.

but, from the sound of your talking points, you are rather accustomed to ideas and arguments that contain no intellectual merit.

Steve you going so well in the first two lines...

Saying that Bush Jr daughters have to be the funniest two.. And they wanted to do was go on the beer like daddy did back in the day...

Honestly some of the kids got a rough time..

I think Palin should leave the kids at home and not mention them. She will be the one running for office not the kids.. She is pushing them into the limelight by mentioning them.
Listen nearly everyone has kids and they love them. I think it fair to say that we can't differentiate between Dem and Rep on that..
