I know it's just the way she talks, and what she says that makes her look like a moron, but there is no way that she is taking that delivery on the national stage and winning anything.
Unless every credible Republican candidate gets caught having an affair, it could happen.........
Kinda like looking at some of your posts.

Sorry goob, I couldn't resist. Don't take it personal.

Is this political suicide? Is a scandal about to break?

Oh boy, oh boy...more fun at the GOP's expense.
Not so fast. Stepping down as Governor while she's in office is no doubt a bad political move, but the idea of quitting as Governor to spend more time to make a bid for the 2012 Presidency is hardly new, i. e. Tim "I'm not gonna run for a 3rd term because one should not be Governor forever" Pawlenty.

The simple fact is that Palin felt she didn't have the time to be Governor while working seriously on her career in national politics.

And no, that's not just my opinion. . .

Quote:
Palin's resignation announcement caught Republicans and Democrats alike by surprise, but it also suggested she had her eyes on another presidential run. She alluded to how she could help change the country and help military members — code that she didn't think her time on the national stage was over.

The Associated Press: Palin resigning as Alaska governor
What Palin should've done is offer a decent excuse for quitting the Governorship, i. e. "my daughter Bristol needs me."

Nevertheless, Palin is clearly a despicable woman.

As Governor, she had a duty to serve her state, and she quit that for no good reason except to advance her political career. Palin is a lot like Hillary Clinton; she got into politics not to make any real change but solely to hold the prestige of becoming the first female President.

I remember a fair amount of fun being had at the expense of the hard-partying Bush twins.

The uglier sides of the right wing have been brutal/racist/sexist against Michelle Obama.

Let's be honest: hitting the family is standard fare. It's not nice, but it happens to everyone. But the real reason her family has caught so much shit? Because during the election she whored them out like she was in a fuckin' Dickens novel.
You have a source for the McCain quote? I found plenty of democrat bloggers repeating it, but was unable to find anything beyond hearsay.

I noticed you like to repeat Lettermans jokes about Palin whoring out her daughters. Im trying to figure out whether you think this kind of stuff is ok, or not. Doesnt seem much in line with Obamas talk of change.

She does drive Liberals crazy.
Because she is George W. Bush in drag, the aw shucks, anti-intellectual governor from a hick town in a hick state, who doesn't really speak well, and has a funny accent (at least hers is real).

Daring to be related to Bill. Hillary was roundly castigated for not divorcing him, "Stand By Your Man, Unless He's A Democrat"

Chelsea--while campaigning for her mother was attacked by the LEFT wing media--not the right. It was all over FOX news who would go after reporters from the left wing media outlets you watch--for doing that.

Hillary was taken out by the same means--a left wing media that fell so in love with Barack Obama that they went after Bill Clinton & her for anything & everything--but would never ask Barack Obama--"What were you doing in that church for the last 20 years?--LOL

If Hillary would sat in that church for the last 20 years--she would have been tared & feathered & drove out of town on a rail.

There is definitely a DOUBLE STANDARD between the treatment of families between a male & female politician. It's obvious. If you don't believe me ask HILLARY.

If Chelsea had any self-respect, she shouldn't have campaigned for her mother.

She should've said "My decision to not campaign for my mother has nothing to do w/my father's affair with Monica or anything like that, or because I don't love her. It's because I don't agree w/my Mom's stances on the issues or her votes in Congress. Although my Mom is a wonderful person, let's face it--she has flip flopped on key issues, namely the Iraq War, and has taken stances that don't reflect a progressive America. It seems, in my opinion, that she has craftily avoided taking unpopular stances, even when they were the right stances, solely to avoid being perceived as too extreme. While I support my mother, I cannot honestly support her politics."

Instead, all we got from her was ". . .like like I've been to 20 something college campuses and that's like none of your business! Gosh aren't I cute!"

The same thing anyone does in Church, trying to catch a quick nap and wondering if anyone will notice your ducking out to have a smoke around the handicapped ramp. Why do you think all pols are such avid Churchgoers? They've spent their lives practicing for the legislature every Sunday.
