I believe that Sarah Palin--as any mother would do-- protect her family & put her family first. I think she did it today.

This decision comes after David Letterman & a host of thousands of attacks made by the left wingers in this country, that were made upon her daughters & family.

So I take you accept some weird excuse that Obama was sleeping in church or was out for a smoke for 20 years?

Do you think that you would believe that if we were talking about Hillary Clinton? I kind of doubt it.

If she did, then good for her. If she's just positioning herself for a Pres run, even better. 2012 will be a cakewalk for Obama and make the Republicans a comedy act for years to come.

Re: Sarah Palin's Gonna Resign from Her 1st Term As Governor...

BTW--just heard--Sarah Palin has a whopping 73% support within the Republican party--with Mitt Romney trailing at 57%.

I really don't think she has any intentions of running for public office again. She stated: "I am passing the ball off for victory."

You're right, I would find it kind of funny if Hillary had been going to see the Rev Wright for 20 years.

I wouldn't have voted for her if she'd been going to see the Pope. I liked Hillary but I didn't vote for her because I didn't think she would win. I voted for Obama because he would beat John McCain and the one thing we had to do in 2008, (and still have to do now) is get rid of the goddam Republicans.

You made a very bad decision--Hillary would have beat John McCain easily.

The contest for the Republican nomination may well come down to Palin Vs. Romney. In such a contest Romney will enjoy a huge advantage in fund-raising. Palin will need to build a tremendous grass-roots organization to compete. Romney also has a built-in advantage in recruiting workers. Don't be surprised if the Mormon Church assigns thousands of additional "missionaries" to key states like Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina before the primaries start.

I don't think so--I think she's done with politics--& for very good reason. Her public life turned into an all out assault on her familiy.

Mothers always protect their children & families first.

I think that she is a position to make some REAL money, and that she wants to get some of it BEFORE the next Presidential campaign begins. That would certainly help explain the timing.

You people really do not listen very well: She stated: I am passing the ball off for VICTORY.

Whatever she does, she also stated that she & her husband have spent 500k in legal fees to fight all of the eroneous charges made by the left.

She is out of politics.

She & her family have been attacked through every single means possible. She mention's her decision to leave public office came with a horrible remark about her young son Trig. She has paid out 500K in legal defense on numerous erroneous charges brought by the left which BTW--she won every one of them.

I have to say CONGRATULATIONS to all of you that set out to destroy a female politician--you suceeded. A special award should go to MS-NBC--David Letterman-CNN-CBS-NBC-& ABC.

What woman in her right mind would ever want to seek high public office again, after seeing what the LEFT WING media did to Sarah Palin?
Yes, I'm quite sure you're worried about the rights of women. I'll take that under advisement.

Please provide a link from something other than Stormfront that Obama has had a child out of wedlock.

If she is, it's a smart decision. She can probably make lotsa money now in several different ways. As a Pres candidate she'd probably lose income and just be a bad joke besides.

Murkowski is up for re-election next year, which means that Palin would have to challenge a relatively popular (well, at least as popular as Palin is in Alaska) republican incumbent in the primary ... unless they agree to a job swap.
