People I was friends with that I thought were forward thinking liberals proved themselves to be misogynistic cretins. They revealed themselves for who they were, they didn't want a fair and equal world they wanted a world where "they" were in charge.

No male politician on this planet has ever had the status of his as his children questioned within 2 days of being selected to run for national office.

Attack her for her politics not for being a woman.
DITTO--I have asked these JACKASSE'S to name one single MALE politician in the history of the United States whose CHILDREN & FAMILY have been attacked so viciously in the manner as Sarah Palin's was.

None of them have been able to come up with one MALE name yet.

Almost certainly preparing herself for a run in 2012 then, not that I'll think she'll win, but this is a very clear move in that direction. She'll get herself ready with a look at the 2010 midterms, try and get sosme national experience and PAC's set up next.

I'm looking forward to Sarah Palin winning the Republican presidential nomination in 2012.

"one MALE name" = Harry S. Truman, whose wife Bess and daughter Margaret were viciously excoriated over the most trivial and often imaginary "offenses" to the sensibilities of the elite. It was so bad that poor Margaret, who was a bright and talented young woman, became a virtual recluse for the next two decades.

In providing this answer, I do not concede that I stand among "these JACKASSE'S." If you NEED to start calling me names, you should direct your animosity at me specifically.

This is what politicians typically do when they're getting ready to move to another political position.

We'll see what she is up to shortly

It's possible too, she is just very tired of her family getting attacked every time she walks out the front door by the left wing media--& or she just got offered a private sector job that she just can't refuse.
Could be she is setting up for future runs. She is young and if she waited until 2016 she'd what, be in her 50's? She has plenty of time.

I watched her speech and Alaska has had to pay about 2 million fighting the bogus ethics charges that she won. And her own family has had to pay half a million in legal fees since the vultures descended. Her family, when asked, said they wanted her to beg out. As much as people make fun of her there are more who place hope in her, some secretly. Her story is interesting and her struggle is real. The fact that she dropped this story on the eve of the 4th of July speaks volumes. I think it sends a signal that she isn't going away. It was purposely timed and meant to be the topic of discussion over a long patriotic weekend. She is an independent woman who made a splash on Independence Day.

well, obama had his acolytes, Romney will have his....

Dunno why people care if Palin wins the GOP nomination for Pres in 2012.

No Republican candidate can be Pres unless there's another 9/11-style attack on the US, so it makes no difference.

And why is that?

Well, that's because anyone with at least half a brain in their head realizes that a Democrat would be too big a pussy to respond...

She behaved well! She didn't cry, pout, shout, or snout the whole time CBSNews was spanking her. Our Palin was a good little girl

Both the Dems and GOPers are retards when it comes to national security.

The difference is that the GOP has created an image of itself as the Rambo party that sucks at playing Robin Hood, while the DP has created an image of itself as the Robin Hood party that sucks at playing Rambo. But now the country is in Robin Hood mode.

Can't sell Rambos when Robin Hoods are wanted.
