Possibly the fact that you were the only one watching him was why the show got cancelled.

Its ok, fox picked him up so you don't even have to change the channel now....

Yeah well, I'm guessing you're a big Rachel Maddow show fan?

No, Stephanie Miller.

No, the blame someone show?

The republicans are the focal point of every conspiracy show?

Does Ariana Huffington have a show yet???? I remember Al Frankens show, that was a fun time, listining to that shit.

Tucker Carlson is the most rational person I have ever heard as far as a op ed news or radio show.

BTW, ^^^ I'm giving you a hard time.

Its all over his obituary pages. The context of him saying it is in reference to his own obituary. Here you go:

Robert Novak dies at 78; syndicated columnist and TV commentator -- chicagotribune.com

excuse me, I don't see how that made him 'someone', and that’s not what he said, he said it would be the lead, knowing it was controversial and of course relatively known. If YOU feel it made him 'a name', well that may be because you didn’t read his byline or have never watched his prgm. which was on for over 25 years. When I think of Novak I don't think- 'plame', many who were unaquainted with him do, those in the know know him for a great deal more than that.

Quote:
Robert Novak was a relative nobody until he exposed Valerie Plame's role as a covert agent. He became synonymous in context with Valerie Plame - even he himself admitted that after the fact

Actually I didn't like her radio show, but she's ok on her MSNBC show. However, I typically only watch it a bit because its right after Olbermann who I do watch ~1-2 times per week.

No, Stephanie Miller.
The Stephanie Miller show is great, esp Jim's voice impersonations. Even if you don't agree with the politics, the show is funnier than most. Steph is way hotter than Palin too...

You mean the fox news 'Blame Obama' network?

Republicans aren't the focal point of every conspiracy. Its just that they tend to have lots of passion, and not so much in the way of evidence. What killed McCain's run for the presidency is republicans have no passion for McCain.

Al's show was mediocre at best.

The ~30 minutes total that I have ever spent listening to him didn't impress me one iota. Strong on passion, weak on evidence.

Mike Malloy and Michael Savage are both up there. Both very biased, but both able to tear apart their 'own side' for hypocrisy or failure. Unfortunately where I live now only carries right-wing stuff, so although I get Savage, I don't get any Malloy, and I'm not motivated enough to download his show.

Most non-conservatives were unaquainted with him. That means the Plame thing catapulted his name (making him "relatively known" as you say), and his quote about his own obituary means he recognized that was the most famous thing he did (even though he didn't feel it was his biggest story). So I stand by my claim & belief.

William Kristol is famous outside of conservative world, and never had to reveal covert agents to do it. Of course, like Novak, Kristol has been proven wrong on almost every single issue he has supported.

Its all media shit... One side says this and the other side says that , WTF? gives??

The liberal side are a bunch of irresponsible guilt driven ass clowns... I dont buy all the republican shit but Goddamn, the liberal shit is like a blame __________ that republican contest.

I also love the callers on the liberal radio programs, they're like "I'm a pro abortion, vegan, anti-war Obama supporting republican and I enjoy this program."

When shit like that happens I pretty much go in my mind and think - well who believes shit shit?

Whatever it is it is.

Then I hope you realize the callers on the conservative radio programs are "I'm a pro-gun, meat eating, god loving, pro-war, liberal hating republican and I enjoy this program."

Amen

Like I said, I don't get liberal radio in this area, both talk radio stations are right-wing all day long. Its enough to drive me batty with all of the misinformation/disinformation they spew (which most of their callers lap up like its gravy).

I'd be more than happy to debunk the liberal radio claims where necessary, except I don't have the opportunity to listen to it while driving to/from work.

NPR not available? That's hard to believe. Well, there's always Satellite.

Liberal radio just makes shit up and makes fun of every conservative.

These people constantly forget their own ilk and focus on conservatives, make shit up and spread propaganda.

I don't get enjoyment out of listening that shit, its always the same old - 'I'm poor because some asshole is taking advantage of me and that I'm some big victim of corporate greed.'

You a helpless person? I'm not and I take pride living in America knowing I have options in my life. It just seems liberal radio makes it seem as if no one has options and the only option is to forfeit freedom and enjoy paying taxes and socialism is the key to a happy America and any nay sayers are racist pigs who hate poor folks.

well, since most non conservatives 'didn't know him’ I guess he was an uknwown.....whatever.

And if non cons didn’t know him then why are they bashing him? Oh wait plame, so they place a guys entire career in the toilet because of one event ( not that I agree he did a thing wrong and I amn still wting for a real case as to any wrong doing btw)? I see, very well thought out. Please.

Okay, here's your fact check:

That's just one resource. This is all over out there.

These guys were up to their eyeballs in cheating this country into making a raid into Iraq, and anybody who got in their way - of legally getting over there, destroying the government and getting their hooks in was delt with: severly and publicly. (Best place to keep a secret is right out in the open. Nobody thinks to look there). The oil money isn't going to US, that's too obvious. the oil revenue is going to the guys who sponsored this little field trip.

Olly North got away with it too.
