It seems as though you have an issue with them being friends with heterosexuals, and vice versa. From what I can tell, those issue are largely there because of how your religious views influence your opinion.

So, if that assessment is accurate (and I have no real reason to believe it isn’t), what do you think should be done with gays in order to correct the issues you perceive?

What can posssible "be done"? The only thing that could possibly happen is for them to repent and try to repress their deviant desires, which isn't going to happen in most cases. I have to assume that most of these people feel that they are doing no wrong, and that's OK with me, they'll stand alone on judgement day as will I.
Where I draw the line is when someone attempts to make me accept their behavior as normal, which IMO is not. I don't like to be told how to think on nearly any subject.
