Thread: Health Care Posted - 72 hours begin

Wow, I guess that 72 hours isn't much time for people to find out what is in the health care bill that has been in the news for about a year now.
Maybe if they had been paying attention, instead of "just saying NO" they would have a clue...........

Then thier is the bill as submitted to the CBO - 2310 pages...let's just make it easy and say you will have to read a page a minute for this one.

So - you will need to read about 20 hours everyday starting right now through 3:20 pm Sunday.

This is assuming, of course, that none of them have even looked at it so far, which is a pretty neat trick in itself considering they just WROTE it

I definitely don't advocate violence against the government in any circumstance that I've seen, but isn't it understandable on some level? What if the government locked up the Japanese Americans in internment camps again? What if a day came to where they told us where we had to work, who we have to marry, how many kids we have to have, etc.?

Is talking about violence against the government a worthy topic to censor? Isn't it the last checks and balance for a free society?

It just happens to be a Federal Crime BTW.
Being banned from a forum is the least thing someone may have to worry about.

Doesn't it have to be a legitimate threat against the President? I hear about people talking about the possibility of violence against the government on a daily basis.

I wasn't the one talking about being violent, just curious as to the legality of some of the comments. I'm not trying to rock the boat, just seeing what the minimum requirements are for a boarding pass.
