The Bible instructs us to obey the government and as we've seen throughout the Bible, those who disobeyed the laws of government were punished. Today, if you get caught speeding, you get a ticket; if you get caught after robbing a bank, you're imprisioned; if you murder someone, you get life in prison or the death penalty; if you get caught in the US without proper citizenship documentation or visa, changes are great that NOTHING will happen to you, even though what you're doing is illegal. This means that not only are the illegals and their employers disobeying the government's laws, the government itself fails to enforce the same laws they made!

Fine. Who would Jesus advise be deported? And don't tell me he wouldn't, because then he would not advise on ANY government policy, which makes every politician who uses their Christianity as a guiding point in Politics ignorant of Christianity and hypocrites, possibly heretics.

If Jesus did advise that anyone be deported, I believe He would say that it should be the illegals since they are disobeying the law by being here. That's common sense given that we're instructed to obey the government.

I think you missed the point I was trying to make...some liberals deny the very existence of God but the minute they think Christians are acting "un-Christ-like", they throw out things like "what would Jesus do". They scream about separation of church and state and they get mad if a Christian lawmaker votes the way he believes God would want him to. Then they turn around and say that Christians should support "government charity" which is all welfare is even though, as Marcus said, the Bible doesn't instruct the government to provide charity but rather the individual. Then those same people turn around again and scream when a Christian votes against homosexual marriage or abortion. It just doesn't make any sense....it sounds more like "I'm a liberal and I get to choose how you should vote on moral issues because your own stance on moral issues doesn't matter."
